I, for one, am supremely bummed. I guess she'll never judge Idol now. :(

Yes, but will AI11 contestants be forced to perform her songs for one of their theme weeks? Yikes.

Probably one of the first ones. TCO gets dibs on I Will Always Love You!

I read yesterday that she was going to be judging X-Files, but I doubt she will now. Still, maybe groups or over 30 can benefit from her experience, and she'll be less annoying than Nicole was.

Heh, I've gotta agree with Team Scully as well.

It is tragic what happened to Whitney. Not necessarily her death, that was a foregone conclusion. (Not that I had her on my list). But the decline and fall of an extremely talented artist. I guess we can put her and Amy Winehouse on the latest posters for don't do drugs because they fuck you up.

They could also be the latest poster for not becoming wildly famous. That fucks you up more than the drugs, I think...the drugs come later, to numb the stress of it all.

Amy, Whitney...everything happens in threes (think Jimi, Janis, and Jim). Who's next? Who else is a major singing star fucked up on drugs?

I'm imagining an SNL skit tonight...well, maybe not.

Hopefully not!

And if the people at the Grammys are smart, they'll do her justice with a wonderful tribute. If only they could address the real problem of senseless deaths due to drugs.

I mostly just get pissed off every time I see one of these "Drugs R Bad, MMMKay" deaths. Sad and senseless...

That said, "Team Mulder". I'd moo for him any day... ;)

No, they don't dogpile dead celebrities. No MJ jokes, no Amy jokes.

Allegedly, J Hud is going to sing a tribute.

Jennifer Hudson to be part of the tribute tomorrow. Good move, Grammys!

Obviously, I meant to type X-Factor...but staying with what I've wrought, I say Team CSM.

VH1 is finally doing a Whitney Houston Marathon.

Its so sad the only time the music channels play music is when a Singer dies.

BTW MTV and BET still dont have any tributes yet.

Just remember when she was great.

MJ, Amy and now Whitney. The Grim Reaper has not had much rest.

Sad about Whitney, danced to her music many times in gay clubs.

Even sadder the Clive Davis Grammy Party is going on right now in the same hotel she died in. I guess it's turned into a wake.

MJ was the first of this trio. Hopefully.

Yeah, the Grammys will have to rewrite something for the Whitney tribute. She will be in the In Memoriam tribute, I'm sure.
