You know, I thought I'd heard everything after watching the past 4 seasons of American Idol. I thought I had seen the most incredibly disillusioned people that the world has to offer -- that is until I ran into Christie Jones. For some reason, as I was working today, I decided it was time to once again toture myself. Why? I have no idea. I just knew it was time to reaquaint myself with the musical contributions of the Cinderella shoe wearin', nasal singin' kareoke girl wonder, Sweet C. Unable to find a few old faves I had bookmarked around the web, I went in search of new material and am so grateful to the person who put up a list on page one of this thread. THANK YOU! And I think I have found a new favorite. Has anyone listened to this song?? Please, I need confirmation that others have gone on and lived normal, happy lives after hearing this particular number. It's called "All Night Long" -- I mistakenly assumed it was a cover of Lionel Richie, but it is much more precious that that. In this song, her name is Christie and she'll be your DJ tonight. Just sit back and listen...everything will be alright. She wants to bring you to ecstasy all night long and make you "feel" her...perhaps she will also "bring you higher" if you're lucky. That is what she promises anyhow. It's on www.acidplanet.com Who knew the name of the site would be so appropriate? Also, be forgiving. She says her mixing quality is not high quality "eigther". -Oakstreet PS - I am wondering if the board dropped off recently b/c it seems members appear to be embracing her artistry? :fafu

I love christy too!!!! i am slightly concerned if she won or not because "hurt" is quite the ambitious undertaking. If I was her, I would've sang what FAG requested, total eclipse of the heart. I hope she did win though...  but yeah, where is she? oh well, I guess some people do have lives....

I swear if I had extra money, I would fly to Hammond, LA and attend the karaoke concert to cheer her on. What a fun VFTW road trip that would be. Heck, we could have chartered a bus and we all coulda went there to be in the audience.

Ok what's the deal? Everytime I've tried going to that site to hear Christy's fantastic music, my complete browser shuts down. EVERYTIME!!!! What gives? A window pops up asking whether I want to send an error report or not. Whenever I click on No it shuts down.
