Rachel is the closest thing to Steffi that this show will allow. Except Rachel's voice(s) are quite bizarre, and she also has a touch of snottiness to her. That means we could make her a VFTW candidate and not feel guilty about it.

I hope she gets through in the same bizarre way that Kevin Covais got through. She needs to make the Top 24 for this show to be somewhat interesting.

This girl is bizarre and her myspace is odd to say the least. She didn't sing well in any of the styles she attempted and she's a horrible version of Stevie Scott. We all know how far she got. But she is a perfect .

I think she's way more interesting. Anyway, what does that mean, "horrible version of Stevie Scott"? Stevie Scott was a horrible version of Stevie Scott.

She reminded me of Dawn Weiner Dog from Welcome to the Dollhouse. If she makes it, it would be great if the signs in the audience referred to her as Weiner Dog.

I hated her. All her "voices" were terrible. I thought she would start channelling more.

You're right. The only things Steffi and Rachel have in common is that they're both young, interesting and unafraid to be freaky when they perform.

OTOH, Steffi was feminine, had a telegenic smile, and she didn't look like a tornado hit her. Rachel is a brat who looks like a mess.

Someone on the episode thread compared Rachel to Nancy Silverman, but Nancy was theatrical, cool and did crazy dancing. This girl hasn't shown any great performance skills.

The more I think about it, it's an insult to compare Rachel to anyone else on an Idol show. I hope her attitude and ego grows if she makes it far.
