I don't think anyone here is personally targeting New Brunswic. They just thought Casey was lifeless and had no stage presense, and that Brandon is the worst singer this year. It's just an accident that they both happen to be from there.

Note for non-NBers - Moose/car collisions are a regular summer event, but nothing like Newfoundland. They're lousy with moose, all over the roads there. Its just part of living in Atlantic Canada. Everyone knows someone-who-knows-someone who's hit a moose.

Ok, I'm from NB and I say we embrace our overall VFTW-ness. We have one of the lowest minimum wages in Canada, the most obesity, hell we even have the largest gay population per capita!!!

Of course we have the worst singers. I think its the "slightly larger than average" fish, small pond scenario. There's no one else to compare the singers to, so they think that they are good. And then NB is so excited by the prospect of having a contestant on a National tlevesion program, they support them with their heart and soul. Its really that simple. and TPTB put them on the sho because they KNOW that it will atract east coast viewers. Thank god I'm moving away next year...to NEWFOUNDLAND!!!! gah.

Brandon has a lot of talent. His fans are not only from NB. Ok, casey wasn't so great. I'll admit it. It doesn't mean that because she was from NB that anyone who's from NB sucks.

I've been to Niagara Falls with my choir (you know, SINGING) and it's not just by luck that we were the best ones there at the INTERNATIONAL music festival. And guess what? We're from NB. Oooo big surprise. The invited guest from NYC even said our choir was superior to his own choir, YPC of NYC. For those who doesn't know, YPC is known around the world.
