Besides, the people here are music fans. American idol encapsulates everything that is wrong with the music industry. Would Bob Dylan have even been given a ticket to Hollywood? Would Prince have been treated as anything more than Sanjaya? No, of course not. Because Idol is not about real talent and real music. It's about a money making machine lining the pockets of multi-millionaire executives who have not a shred of artistic credibility.

So...VFTW supports talent and hard work. You support Hollywood connections and the corporate machine without regard to actual talent.
