Quote "AllisonMarie7": Im not going to lie. This is one of my all time favorite shows. I absolutely love it and can't wait for next tuesday! And I can't help that I find Hugh Laurie insanely attractive! Me too on the Hugh Laurie thing ......has anyone seen him on pbs in the Black Adder series? With Rowen Atkinson? He is a scream! but not at all attractive. It's like , let your face get scruffy, put on a fake American accent and turn a funny looking Brit comic into a crazy sexy Hot American Doc!.......I like.

Count me in on the House love! This show started out as my husband's pick . . . I watch so much damn reality TV he got frustrated and demanded one show of his own choosing that we had to watch together. he chose House, I rolled my eyeballs and reluctantly started to watch. But now, I love it! House and The Office are the only two non-reality shows I can stomach. I know, I need help.

Nic, I hear ya. I don't watch THAT much tv, but when I do it tends to be the reality tv sort(AI of course, CI, Laguna Beach(that one was embarrassing to admit, but I will keep tuning in in hope that someone bitchslaps Cami&;;Kyndra at the same time, Flavor of Love etc and then Sex and the City and Seinfeld re-runs on TBS) It's nice to have an actual show that is not crappy reality tv, or a great show that ended eons ago. I started to get hooked on House during AI4, when it would air right after. I love the wacky illnesses and diagnosis's. It's also quite gross, the season ender was just plain disgusting. The exploding eye, and scrotum, and gut ripping The episode where the girl had the bubonic plague creeped me out too. I can't wait to see what's in store for the 3rd season.

Oh yes the exploding eye! Ewww! I love this show. Hugh Laurie is indeed kinda cute, I haven't seen him in anything else though, except maybe that Annie Lennox video. I'll have to check on IMDB to know in which movies he was.

Hugh laurie in an Annie Lennox video? I'm intrigued. Do tell more silhouette. What video? Add the BBC's Black Adder to Mr. Laurie's acting creds. Personally, I don't go in for much British humor but supposedly he's quite funny.

House is great, but it was the best in Season 1 when that black guy (Vogler?) was in charge of the hospital and was being an overbearing prick to everyone. There was more conflict between the characters back then.

Hey MR, that's a pretty cool site. I always wonder how valid the medical mumbo jumbo is on the show. Thanks! I was a wee bit disappointed last night. Sure, scurvy is great but it's no exploding eyeball or pooping from the mouth. The soap opera aspect is also getting a bit tiring . . . a nice House is just not as interesting as a pissed off, in pain House. Looks like the pain might be coming back. WTF with Cameron's hair? They're really hellbent on making her look as much like a 12 year old girl scout as possible. Poor girl. &;lt;3 Omar Epps. &;lt;3 the blond guy. Nice to see no one messed with their hair.

I only saw part of it That hair was fucked up though - I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. It was like a weird mole on someone's face - I just couldn't stop staring at it and trying to figure it out.

I still think he's in a coma...that didn't seem real to me.

Im so pissed, I missed the season opener. I assumed it would start at 9, since that was the time I was used to as it would come on after AI. Of course it was on at 8 and I was watching the CI results show instead

Well, at least I was able to watch tonights show. I am still conflicted on whether or not House is still in a coma, or if he is awake. Throughout the majority of this episode I thought he was, till the end, and then I thought maybe he truly is awake. Is it common to practice any sort of brain surgery without the patient being totally unconscious? I know with tv you have to suspend your belief a little, but that part seemed odd. All in all a good show tonight imho with an interesting case.

it is actually commen to do brain surgury when the patient is awake, so they can test out the different areas, like House did.... I usually don't what the show, because it rips off 2 of my favorite shows, scrubs and csi...but i watched it tonight with my housemate. It was good, but as soon as they pointed out the different DNA I knew he was a chimera. Plus it was a little streched how the different cells were making him hallucinate, since chimeras are functionally normal.

Yeah, the chimera diagnosis wasn't very surprising after the DNA tests. I wonder if the new pain is all in House's mind, related to his addiction to vicodin.
