Oh, I guess that was a one off then. They showed the pilot on Bravo the first week. I loved Aaron Sorkin's writing and I'm trying to get used to Bradley Whitford as Danny not Josh Lyman.

With all the names out there in the world, how come he keeps re-using the same ones?

They do the same thing on Law and Order. They recycle names and actors. Thank God, Matthew Perry's name is Matt or I'd be really confused.

I know this thread has strayed from Heroes which I also watch but what racist comments were on Studio 60? I have bad short term memory--I watched the show and it's gone now...

Hereos has become the top rated show on Monday nights. In TV guide they did an interview with the producer of the show. He said that mirror girl has more special powers but you won't find out what they are all at one time. He said that they would let the viewers know slowly what they are. Her man also has powers...the only hint they gave was that jail or nobody else can hold him.

I've been voraciously trying to find as many spoilers as I can for this show, because I like the concept but think it moves kind of slow for my impatient ass. Also, my hubby is crazy for it and isn't hip to the whole 'spoilers on the internet' thing, so I can explain things to him as the show goes on and he thinks I'm super smart.
For anyone who wants to impress their friends and family with how smart you are, scroll down and I'll tell you all I know . . . Niki's husband DL is able to go through material, ie walk through walls and slip through handcuffs. The general consensus is that he's not bad, he's just freaked out and scared about his powers. he actually loves Niki and the kid and will probably join up with other heroes as a good guy at some point. The reason why Hiro can speak English in some scenes pretty good and not at all in other scenes is that he is constantly entering the story from the future. He's a time traveler. In the future, he learns english, so as he travels back in time from various points in the future, he has more and more english abilities. Claire's father "Horn-rimmed-glasses" is not necessarily evil. He is some how protecting the heroes . . . unclear about who/what his assistant is. When he does his mind sweeps, he's only taking away the memory of what just happened, not their entire mind (except for the asshole football player). Peter is a mimic, ie he gets the powers of whichever hero he is near. This will become very important . . . unclear exactly why, but it has something to do with him using Claire's power. Nate's wife is set to make an appearance soon. She is confined to a wheelchair, the result of an accident she was in with Nate. Nate saved himself with his flying ability, but did not save her. Does not look to be a happy marriage. Nate has flown many, many times before. Some random information, there's probably more that I know I just can't think of it now.

I'm like y'all...I'm enjoying the show, but I'm very impatient. Hey, I'm a reader, not a TV watcher. If I get started reading a book I really like, I'll stay up all friggin' night reading...I can't take this whole "wait a week for the next part of the story" thing. I had already pegged the younger brother as the Rogue-type character of the story (and therefore actually the most powerful). The DH and I are trying to figure out if Claire's dad is evil or not. Oh, and I enjoy Studio 60, too, when I can catch it. Do we have a thread on it yet? I'm impressed that there's a positive Christian character, but worried that they're going to make her some sort of friggin' crazy sooner or later. *scowls* --Q

No Studio 60 thread yet. Start one, I'll post in it. Nikki's husband looks like Claire's dad's assistant. From what we briefly saw of him. If Nikki's husband has a power, and Nikki has a power, I wonder if her son has one as well? It was funny as hell when Hiro's friend showed up at Nikki's house. You should hide your whois information. ;) It was interesting Peter talking to Hiro on the phone after the painting. He's really starting to put things together. The cop better watch himself around his wife. Giving her her every desire before she's even spoken it could make her suspicious. I would have had a hard time getting turned on so fast from her accusing me of cheating on her. He has my sympathies when he's out in public around so many people, picking up their thoughts. For being the one who started looking for the mutants, the Indian guy sure turned and walked away instead of going back to the artist after Peter had his talk with Hiro. Hiro seeing the candidate fly in. That rocked.

Other super not named? Known about D.L. for a while now. There is talk about Micah (DL/Nikki's son) having powers - more likely super intel (special school, building computer from SCRATCH). Nathan's flight was AWESOME - so was Hiro spotting him. OMG - Hiro trying to drive the car!? HILARIOUS! "Up, up, and away." Suresh ... can we stop having exposition-man already? GO BACK TO INDIA!! Nikki gets her ass-kicking on (or her ass kicked, whatever) next week!! Looks cool ... you know, the whole "throwing my husband across the room" thing. To: Matt Re: People's thoughts From: Buffy You need to find a a certain demon ... quick. Eventually, those voices will kill you! The reason why I think the man pal'ing around with Mr. Bennet is Sylar? Because 1, Matt can't hear his thoughts. 2, he's ordered to take Nathan down, and 3, completely takes away Brody's .... everything. Awesome Peter painting! And from what I saw, it looked close enough to Isaac's, except that he used waaaay too much red. Yea, this is getting better and better ... and hopefully they'll get rid of Suresh sooner rather than later. I don't mind the voice-overs at the beginning, but the character himself adds nothing to the story.

THATS Sylar? I thought he was the black guy Guess not. I'm glad thats him because the whole Peter is evil/Sylar crap was pissing me off. I really don't think he becomes Sylar, ever. I love Heroes! Makes my Mondays more bearable for sure!

Sean bean will be a fine addition to the cast. My husband told me that the actor who plays Hiro is actually a computer programmer, not a professional actor. He was friends with one of the shows creators and they convinced him to audition for the part. My husband has been known to talk about of his ass before . . . http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1199811/ Looks like he's a computer science major from Brown and he worked on a lot of movies as a special effects guy. However, he's been on Scrubs a bunch of times and some other sitcoms. I wanted him to be the anti-actor . . . just a regular guy who struck it big.

I give Hiro points for having a definite career to fall back on if acting doesn't work out.

Cool power for D.L. The images rocked. I don't think she's dead though. They can't have spent so much time on her to kill her off so fast. WE *knew* those weren't Claire's parents. It just seemed wrong. What would have happened to Hiro and Ando if they were in the room when Nikki walked in?
