Is anyone else watching this?

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when the whale on the orange team was still at the bottom of the hill after everyone else had finished.

Due to DVR'ing 90210 (I should have just waited until tonight), I only caught the second half.

I was quite amused by Bob's little blow-up.

I'm actually watching it right now since I taped it last night.

I love this show Paula

AT the part Bob is freaking out Laugh He is not scary at all. Jillian is much more scarier.

Aw I felt sorry for the big orange guy :( I hope he looses the most weight.

Slacking you still watch 9020? Laugh I only gave that one episode.

ETA: NOOOOOOO!! The bottom 2 is awful. The two people who need to be there the most below the yellow line.

I watched the show last night. That Joelle girl's crazy! I felt bad for both of the people in the bottom two.

I taped this episode (yes, I still use a VCR) and haven't had a chance to watch it all the way through. I did catch Bob's histrionics, though. He was more annoying than scary. Jillian is way scarier.

As far as reality shows go, Biggest Loser is one of the best. They do great things for some of these people that would have otherwise ended up dying prematurely from obesity related issues.

I love this show but with the conflict with Idol I think I'll have to sit this season out. I will catch the finale though, I always make sure to watch that at least so I can see the before and afters.

I think less than half the contestants keep the weight off. The first three winners are all fatties again now.

I'm hoping Joelle was just retaining water and will lose a lot next week so they get stuck with her for another week.

Aw thats a shame!

It is a shame. Part of the problem is the fact that while the contestants are on the ranch, they are shielded from day-to-day temptations and stresses. Also, they work out 4 to 6 hours a day while on the show. No one can maintain that schedule once they return to their normal lives.

I wonder if the show offers them any kind of maintenance program after the show has ended. I would think making sure the former contestants keep the weight off would be better for the show's publicity.

I love this show, and that was an incredibly sad elimination. It seems that my favourites are always on Jillian's team every season. I enjoy every member of her team and almost none of Bob's. I like the brown team too though

that blowup was hilarious but he has nothing on Jillian as far as being intimidating goes

This was a million times better then Idol tonight.

Tara &;lt;3 Sad that David is gone. I was looking forward to her being a bitch to him

Dan I hope he keeps on losing weight. To bad he was stuck with a loser partner.

^^ I agree. Fuck David. He totally screwed Dan with his comment. As for him saying he can do it at home...come on Mr. I'll have 2 hot dogs and fries with that. For him to then go on and say "but I didn't lose as much as I would like to" is only because he still eats like crap.

Dan really wanted to be there. He really needed to be there. But he looks fantastic now and I can't wait to see him in the finale. I admire his dedication so far and I hope he keeps it up.

I think going home early is actually better for the fatties because they learn how to lose weight in a natural environment. The ones who stay on the ranch the whole time seem to always gain the weight back. Look at Ali Vincent. She left early and came back later in the game. She lost a lot of the weight at home and she still looks the same today as she did at the finale because she learned how to be healthy at home during the show. The first three winners all gained back at least 100lbs very soon after their seasons were over.

They had an article in TV Guide as to how some of these people are doing. Seems to me that most of them have done well. Of course, they didn't talk to all of the winners. They had some of the finalists who are doing Great!

I might have to check this show out. Never watched it before.

I find certain people on this show very motivating even aside from the fact that I go to the gym twice a day. The struggles they overcome are more than just weightloss. They seem to get a major emotional benefit from it all. I know if I am not in the gym for a week, I get quite cranky so even on holidays, I make sure I at least go for a run.

It is amazing to see the transformation from beginning to end on the really heavy ones though. Like I said, I can't wait for the finale to see Dan again. I am so praying he sticks with it forever.

ya, David totally screwed Dan over, and I was really rooting for him to go all the way. I also can't wait to see him at the finale

I love the brown team too though, so I'm alright with them staying

I'm glad Joelle is still on the ranch. I love how she irritates the shit out of everybody. I love her partner, she's fiesty.

The fourth Aussie version just started yesterday. They're doing it all Survivor style with the scales in the middle of the jungle.

Quote :
The main twist for this season is the existance of two game changing bracelets. One bracelet is inscribed with "double", and the other is inscribed with "nothing". Two contestants will be issued with one bracelet, and will keep it until they are voted out. If a bracelet holding contestant is voted out, they will hand the bracelet over to another player to keep until they are voted out. If the eventual winner has the "double" bracelet they will win double the cash prize for the show ($400,000), however, if they have the nothing bracelet, they will win nothing. The purpose of this twist is to make it exciting near the end when players may try to be nice to the "double" player, and vote them out, in hope of them giving the bracelet to them. Also if someone hates the person with "nothing" they will want to keep them in the game, otherwise "nothing" will be passed on to them.

This is going to be so great.
