List of current bugs:

-site search function disabled

-forum search function non-existent

-post history function in profiles non-existent

-paragraph spacing does not work (ie. leaves a half space in between in the message if you press enter and write on the next line or if you leave one or more spaces between lines in your typed post)

-"Location:" appears below posters' avatars who did not fill in a location in their profile

-post flood control affects editing (ie. you can't edit for 90 seconds after you post)

-members can delete any old post they want instead of only being able to delete recent ones that don't have replies

-in this thread whoever posts last is said to have edited the first post in the thread

NOT a bug:

-post count not shown under avatar in posts anymore

-members without a custom subnic don't have subnics anymore

-URLs for threads and forums now include the title of the thread/forum. For example, URL for ai9 forum is http://www.votefortheworst.com/forum/22/american-idol-9. Note that the old links with the title omitted http://www.votefortheworst.com/forum/22/ still work as well as well as with alternate titles like http://www.votefortheworst.com/forum/22/whateverifeelliketypinghere so changing a thread title does not affect thread indexes.

-at the bottom of forums for regular members who can't moderate it says:

Obviously regular members cannot moderate the forum. (Note: Is any of this text really necessary?)

Trying to keep this thread free of discussion and just have it be bug reporting, which you messed up. WHY????? - thefunnystone

Every time I post, I get the "an error has occurred" message, and it shows me the VFTW twitter feed. Then I have to close out the site, and pull it back it up, log in again, etc. This has only been happening since the show started, and I'm sure it's because the site is busy now.

But, I wanted to report it just in case you guys need to know.

Happening to me too. When you see it, go back a page in your browser to go to the right thread then refresh

#1 Earlier tonight, I got the twitter page after posting, then was stuck in 90-seconds-before-you-can-post-again-limbo again until I cleared cookies. My advice to prevent this: don't store the timer value in the cookie, store it in the PHP $_SESSION global array, also it's a PITA to have to wait 90 seconds before you can edit a post.

#2 Post preview: on Firefox 3.6 on Mac OS/X Snow Leopard, the text overflows on the right of the preview box, if you select a larger font in the browser. Also, preview font is different from actual forum font and tags like

don't look or format the same as they do when you post the message.

-pages 22-27 in General Chat forum have no threads so they should not appear in the page listing at the bottom

-On Wed Mar 3rd at 8am there were 14 comments on Dave's recrap from last night on the front page. I was reading the comments section and when I clicked on page 2 or "next page" to go to the second page of comments, it kept transporting me back to the front page.

-On Wed Mar 3rd at 8am clicking on first thread in Basement forum here led to front page twatter feed with "Something is wrong" message at the top.

I second FAG's second bug - happened to me last night and this morning too.

Just a couple of moments ago - I was reading a thread (General - Idol Tard I think) and clicked "Home" on the menu. It transported me back to May 2009 - when I hovered over the link, the link also had something after the index site - I guess a page? I navigated away too quickly by accident (though I want to say page 122 sounds familiar) and I haven't been able to repeat the episode again.

Also, the "remember me" on the login form is not clickable in IE 8, and it doesn't remember me anyway.

When you are IN a thread in the forum, and click on the "home" menu option, the link is www.votefortheworst.com/page### - I was on page 122 of a thread. And the link for home was vftw.com/page122 - hence the time travel. It's happening in every thread-to-menu click for HOME NEWS BLOGS RADIO and MAIL

I'm going in and out of threads in the season 9 forum. Every time new posts are made in the Top 20 Girls PBP thread and I try to go back in by clicking the link that will take me to the first unread post, it brings me to the page that says an error has been logged and the staff will look at it shortly. I can get into the thread fine any other way.

Yup same thing happened to last night's PBP. We're looking into that bug.

This has already been addressed. It's old code and NO you can't moderate forums.

Weird bugs on older posts:

- General Forum page selector shows 37 pages, but there are really just 21, selecting anything above 21 gets you a blank page.

- On old posts that were edited, the person in the "last edited by " comment is wrong (said I edited some of Deb's posts and I know that can't happen!)

It seems I can't go back and edit(even though there's and edit button there) my posts anymore. Is this a bug?
