I know what you are talking about and it used to do that for me, but now it doesn't log me in at all unless I uncheck that box.

I'm using Firefox and for awhile it had that glitch and then it got to where no amount of refreshing would ever make it act logged in until I clicked the Remember me thing off.

Funny thing is it will remember me a fair amount of the time when it isn't told to do so.

i haven't been able to log in for days, even after I erased the cookies. I got smart and came to this thread....I have firefox...unclicking the remeber box and frefreshing the page and I am logged in.

Just noticed that the New Page bug is still there. Look at this thread (before somebody else posts in it). Currently it has Insane as the last post but you can't see it. It's the 1st post on page 35 which is not available in the page selection. But if you edit the URL manually to 'page35' then you can see it there.

They need to fix the login bug first.

The thread index to the contestants is broken in the Seasons 1-10 forum: links to contestant threads no longer go there.

^ Yep. The AI1~10 announcement has some problems. I guess there was a forum reorganization after season 9? The links for season 10 work but the contestant links for other seasons and the on-site links early in the announcement go 404.

If it helps, I copied the text and put in the correct (near as I can finger) links and formatting, up till the end of season 1. It's a slow process, but if the staff wants I could do a little here and there until this is complete. Unless the staff has a quick and easy method. Either way, just let me know.

Usually, posting in a thread that already exists is a smart idea. In addition to the regular rules, the AI1-10 forum has a few extras. Each contestant is allowed to have ONE thread only for all discussion. There are a gigantic number of contestants, so this will keep things sane.

How do I get a custom subnic like the cool kids?

VFTW kindly accepts donations in exchange for a custom subnic. This place is expensive to run because it's so popular, so if you help us out with a little green, we'll reward you with your very own subnic that no one else can have. This is completely voluntary, but it does make you cool, and we do appreciate the help.

I want to make photochops. Where should I post them?

We have a photochop thread, feel free to post them there or in the thread that the photochop refers to (feel free to put pictures of Von's head on a donkey's body in the Von thread). The only photochops that deserve their own thread are masterpieces like TheKatieDidIt's "Trailer Park Tips from Kellie Pickler." And we'll let you know if your work has reached that level.

Yes. Want to post news on your favorite Idol? Before you start a new thread, check and see if they already have a thread. It makes things much easier to find later if we keep news about former Idols in one thread about them
