Hey, Insane. Not really a question or problem, more of a happy-gram. Your new avatar (Elizabeth Berkley, innit?) inspired me to suggest a matching location: "Jazz Hands Remediation."

cheers

This is not a pressing issue in my life, but: Have joined Facebook, "liked" VFTW, but it appears on my "wall" not as a snazzy little square picture under Arts & Entertainment, like Idol has, but as a blue-lettered phrase/link under "other." Bo-ring. Does that cost you or something? If I'm going to turn myself into a free-publicity machine (which is what Facebook is), I know who I want to get the free publicity.

I think I figured it out: When I simply "liked" the VFTW page, I got the boring listing. But when I edited the "Activities & Interests" section of my profile, I typed Vote For The Worst into the search box, chose the proper page (there's another with a generic molecular icon), and now I am the proud flaunter of a full-color VFTW icon. VFTW Victory

As a professional web designer says on the tutorial I consulted about setting up Facebook pages, Facebook is not intuitive.

Hmmm. On second thought, you're right. I take it back. Only a retard would think you have a big dick.

YouTube recently suggested to me a contestant that I immediately thought was VFTW worthy from the Hungarian version of the X-Factor by the name of Kiraly L. Norbi also translated as Norbert. I have looked through this site and found no mention of him. There is the U.K. X-factor thread and the U.S. version. The issue is that he is past old news with no chance of voting, having appeared on the Hungarian show roughly September-December 2010.

So I decided to ask in the help thread. Do you want suggestions of outdated potential VFTW contestants even if they are not relevant and can't be voted for either, it is not like the current contestants are all that relevant either. Not only does the U.K. kick the U.S. in terms of embracing VFTW contestants, but even a smaller country like Hungary kicks the butt of the U.S.

I don't really know anything about Norbi which is the way I think I prefer it and I don't speak Hungarian which makes it all the more enjoyable. He is gangly with huge ears that stick out, he actually does have an interesting voice in a legit way, but he throws all that aside to grunt, groin, and scream. I see him as example of VFTW that is entertaining rather than actual worst. He is a spastic dorky dancer that performs in his own world. He fully embraces his inner VFTW spirit which is why I think he is VFTW worthy. (If I am not right about this, then I need a VFTW 101 course.)

I think the initial audtion in front of the main judges is when he sang Joe Cocker's You Can Leave Your Hat On. The judges and audience just lose it. There is an audition tape with more VFTW goodness. Norbi Auditions ETA: I found a shorter version of the audition/semi-finals with the dialog cut out. Norbi Auditons Semifinals No Dialog

Then there are several VFTW performances on the show that I did not even know where to pick from, but for Let's Get Rocked he juggles fire near the end. Norbi Lets Get Rocked

He also had a video from Song Hungary that looks like more money was spent on than several AI winners, but then that is not saying much. Norbi Sony video

So I thought I would ask VFTW if Kiraly L. Norbi aka Norbert is VFTW worthy or not.

It looks like he was the runner-up if I am interpreting a video clip correctly, it is hard to tell when one does not speak the language, which if that is the case, Hungary needed VFTW.

ETA: My apologies if VFTW already covered this and I missed it. This is the time frame when my dad had a heart attack and then died so I really did miss what was going on. Now that I asked, I fear that Norbi really was covered and I was just completely out of the loop and so much time has passed that is why I did not find anything easily. Well, at least I am in the dumb questions thread.

Hey, mods. I am getting "badware" warnings from Google, but then cannot detect anything wrong. I am assuming that there is a bad banner ad out there.

I submitted to Google that there's nothing wrong. We'll see if they correct it.
