OK. I made 10K.. I figured I would at least get Sy. Or if you wanted to be real nice, Rocket Girls.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I get John Stevens.

Motherfucking sacrilege! John Stevens was the very first VFTW pick to kick out better people and get us hate mail. He is a VFTW legend.

No no no. John Stevens is much better. He's a crooner. Let me show you.

Typical John Stevens

Then he did this.... Probably the best Idol performance behind Sanjaya's. Classic.

I was definitely a closet Worster at that time. I remember saying "Go geeky, red-headed dude!" I loved the fact that the judges seemed to hate him. I wasn't a full Worster until I saw the atrocious treatment of Sanjaya, though.

Think of him as Rick Astley lite, AI edition. Clap

That was the first season of Idol that I saw. I loved John and Boomie, and was so sad when they left. I've been a Worster for years and didn't know it.

Out of all the VFTW picks I voted for in the past. I think Kevin Corvais is one that I will never regret. Here's a clip to a recent interview with him with some of his thoughts on AI and the R-rated movie, "College," he will appear in.

YouTubeLink

I can't help but be happy for him. Kevin graduated High-School and is working on a career. What's not to love about that?

Kevin has no sense of humor.

Oh no. Does this mean he's never gotten the greatness of his "Part-Time Lover" performance?

He probably thinks he's a good singer and people were voting for him because he's talented.

My theory is that he didn't care about anything VFTW said about him. I think he had such a hard-on for Paris at the time, that he resented Dave calling her a pug dog. Laugh

Hmm, I thought this was a thread about dumb questions, not dumb discussions.

Meh.

I have a dumb question. I can not get the radio show on my mac. Unravel's link did not work for me. I know we are a minority, but there has to be something for us little mac tards.

Anyone? Pickler

Ya know LBC, it's been since the 22nd since you asked the question about Mac access to the radio show. I'm hoping that the reason you haven't got an answer is because there are not a lot of Mac users here.

Here's my dumb question to you, and I truly mean no offense because I am thinking of purchasing a Mac for my next lap-top. I have noticed many times over the years that Macs users complain about limited access to things that Micro-soft based user's can do. But I'm sick of the virus/spyware/trogan vigil.

Have you found the lack of access overly limiting? Does it cost too much to get advice directly from Apple or does it come as a pre-purchased service? How often is it a problem? Can you share Word or other data without a problem?

What's it like to own a Mac? TYIA

I didn't reply because I didn't see it until now. I'd told Unravel to use VLC during one of the chats and apparently it worked.

So there you are.

SPOON!, there are other Worsters here that can better answer your questions. I barely know what I am doing. But, I love my mac. There are a few things that don't work, like Internet Explorer. My mac had Word and Excel installed and they seem to work fine when sending documents to PCs. For me, it is a much easier computer to use and I rarely have problems like needing patches or getting nasty viruses.

Tinnerz, that's the link I tried. I probably installed it incorrectly. I will try again. Thanks.

ETA: unravel, I probably have it where it was downloaded and left it there. Laugh
