I know you can sum up everything that is worthwhile to say about Randy in eight or nine words, but that's O.K. since his vocabulary is about that large anyway.

I'm going to create a thread for him just in case he feebly tries to create a new catchphrase or something.

Just don't be pitchy here, dawg, a'ight? Randy

What annoys me about him is how whenever he does an interview outside of the show, he always sounds articulate and intelligent. Why can't he just talk like that all the time? His shtick is as old as the bad fake auditions. Whatevia

Tina should create all the "unforgiving" threads from now on.

One thing I will give Randy, he ripped that so called vocal coach a new one...and it was deserved.

The Dawg thing is tired, but what else is he gonna do really?

I look forward to his annual fight with Simon.

Be creative? Original? Sensical? Find a new fucking word besides "dawg" and "dude"? I just don't understand his schtick. He seems, in interviews, usually on-point. Why not on the show? So boring and useless. They could replace him with a Randy Jackson keychain and just press the appropriate buttons for his responses. He sucks.

yeah, but all 3 of them have their act. His is the dawg pound. It works for him (he feels) so he works it to death.

You gotta choose between annoying or boring. If he was his real producer self it would be *yawn*. so he has his dog act. Hell the producers encourage it I'm sure. Kind of the token black thing for the show.

It's all stupid really, so his lame act isn't the worst thing on the show. That's why I prefer when he gets pissed.

Then it's showtime.

What drives me crazy about him, is if you go back and watch AI1, he was nothing like we see now. He has become a caricature of himself.

Back in those days, he was the sane one, usually dead on with his comments.

Oh well, all 3 of them have become caricatures of themselves by this point.

I did not want to start a new thread. I found this on page 11!!

I am not enjoyong these judges this year, they are acting stranger than ever!!!!!!

Simonsays "Let try a different approach............Incredible!"

After Haley sang Randy and Paula would not even talk...don't they get paid to talk?

Anyway I just felt a need to bring attention to the judges antics.

one thing about Randy though. He did drop a lot of weight and I applaud him for that. I mean check out the dawg pounds during season one versus today. i mean, he really lowered his risk for heart disease, diabetes, a stroke, joint problems what have you.

america could take a lesson from Randy Jackson. maybe not singing lessons or how to critique a performance.

incredible (ie- not credible)

Main Entry: in·cred·i·ble

Pronunciation: (";)in-'kre-d&;;-b&;;l

Function: adjective

Etymology: Middle English, from Latin incredibilis, from in- + credibilis credible

1 : too extraordinary and improbable to be believed &;lt;making incredible claims&;gt;

2 : AMAZING, EXTRAORDINARY &;lt;incredible skill&;gt; &;lt;an incredible appetite&;gt; &;lt;met an incredible woman&;gt;

Simon gets a little sneaky with his vocabular sometimes. I love it!

Randy and Paula were just being smartasses because Haley basically dissed them and kissed Simon's ass pre-performance.Well-deserved, I thought.

Who has problems with joints?? I bet Randy doesn't. He probably tokes up after the show to cope with the stereotype he portrays, either by pressure from the producers or his own desire to be popular.

I fastforwarded through a lot of the show so I didn't hear Haley dis Randy and Paula I thought she was just so awful they were speechless! I'll have to rewatch that part.

Well...

She dissed them by omission.

And basically attributed any negative comments given by Simon to his "mood".

And Simon was in a hell of a mood last night, it seemed.

I attributed R&;;P's lack of comment to lack of things to say. Stacy picked a terrible song (with a bridge that changed tempo, which is completely out of her "things I can do without breaking my neck" range), and sang it with her usual lack of intrigue. The only things she had going for her were listening (mostly) to Bennett's advice, and also listening to ours by showing plenty of skin. The judge's comments were pretty spot on, then, as no one really wanted to talk about her song, which was evident in the sort of tension after the performance.

Randy, Paula, and even Simon don't know what to say to her, because they have no reason to need to build her up or dress her down (literally or figuratively).

You ever notice that Randy can't seem to come up with anything other than, "I don't know man, it was pitchy in spots." Either it's good or it's pitchy - there's no middle ground. He may be an established producer, but his lack of vocabularly leaves a lot to be desired.

Simon has been in a hell of a mood all season.

He said he can't find anyway to critique Melinda.

Let us help him.

She is really. really boring!!!!!! I can't believe he hasn't noticed that.

Paula blubbering...CDs.... concerts......

Who exactly would pay good money to listen to this woman.

I have never really got the whole Melinda thing and I have tried.
