There are no girl/boy groups this year. The asshole producers are choosing the Top 10 and I doubt this one will be in it.

They are out of their minds if they think putting a transgender on this show is a good idea. Odd judging panel? Transgenders? No semi-finals? I'm beginning to think they know it's Idol's last season so they're just saying "fuck it".

Josh/Jada is an obvious fodder. They will give her some screen time as a publicity stunt. "Look everybody! The first transgender contestant is on our show, not the other ones! We are still the pioneers!" And then they will drop her just before the live rounds.

Josh/Jada is on the boys list for the spoilers, so I think they might try to play this up as a Nick Mitchell/Normund Gentle two performers for the price of one deal. They've also been listing "Jada" as a nickname in quotes.
And hasn't Idol already had a transgender contestant? I remember in season 1 or 2 Simon gave a girl a really hard time and refused to address her as a girl. She didn't advance because Simon's an asshole and Randy wouldn't vote until Simon said no.
AGT might have had a transgender contestant or two in the Quarterfinals already. There was that one opera singer who came out as a girl onstage and then dropped down to bass.

Yeah and I'm sure it will go over perfectly with the over 40 crowd (pretty much 90% of Idol's audience). This ain't Glee where anything goes. But whatever, the controversy that will undoubtedly follow will give them the attention they want.
