I just thought Simon deserved his own bitchy thread.

ETA: To talk about any all all things Simon-related, not just "if" he's still going to be a bitch.

We all know he's going to be a huge fucking bitch this year. Especially as old age starts to take over, making him look more and more like Clive Davis.

I think he'll be even more of a bitch now that VFTW and DialIdol are around and more popular then ever. They can't really just throw anybody they want off of the competition anymore, can they? :(

I think Simon will be out with a vengence this year. It's the sixth season and they have to compete with season five's ratings.

Did season five break all records for most viewers and votes?

Am I the only one who thinks he just keeps getting progressively more bored with AI? I think this year we'll be lucky if we see him at half the audition spots.

These are just begging for chops. I love Simon, but I do hope he gets some new catch phrases this season.

He is definitely running out of material and getting bored with the show.

I wouldn't care if they replaced him with Nigel.

WIB that first pic is hilarious. I wonder if that guy actually sees something on Simon's neck or just showing how disgusted he is with him as he turned his back. Laugh

I think that's an absolutely dreadful thing to say! It's as if I was at a ghastly party and some workmate got drunk and stood up to say something and attempts to entertain an audience who isn't interested! Now go put on a dress!

Simon will have to make some tough decisions this year. On one hand, he's bored with the show. On the other hand, he needs to make it interesting enough to draw in the ratings.

He knows he (at the very least) got semi-screwed last season with PWE's elimination/Taylor's victory. We heard rumors that they're looking for a country or rock Idol this season and are turning away drama geeks. Will Simon stack the semifinal deck full of talented, boring people, or will he put in some Worst picks for us like he does every year and make the show interesting?

I hope Paula and Randy can help us out.

What was that one? I don't remember it.

Well, the "pizza and salad" comment was from Paula .

In the top 20 results show, when Heather and Kinnik were left, Ryan asked Paula why those two were left and she said "Simon said because one of them ate pizza and the other ate salad".

Kinnik laughed like a dumbass, but Heather gave Paula the same look that the rest of America gave her.

Simon says they play games when they're bored. During one of the auditions he told a girl she sounded like a hippo. He told Ellen they give each other words to work into the critiques. On one show this year you can hear him say to Paula, "Try to work in the word mongoose." Simon

Regardless of what happens this year, I hope Simon will be more entertaining than Zack Werner from CI. Although Zack was less predictable than Manboobs, Zack just wasn't very harsh this year. He looked so promising during the audition rounds...

^None of the CI judges were harsh at all. I was surprised by that.

Yeah, I got bored with CI. I tried to watch it. The judges were just so boring. Laugh

I hear ya. It's nowhere near as good as American Idol because

a) the judges are boring rip-offs of the AI judges

b) everyone sucks, and usually not in an interesting way

It has its moments, but really it's just a third rate rip off.

Has Simon found Jesus? Simon Mikalah

"Cowell admits he's bored of pop music

By Daniel Kilkelly

Simon Cowell has admitted that he is no longer interested in pop and prefers church music.

The X Factor judge is promoting his new group Angelis, who were put together after Cowell sent a group of experts to find the best choir singers in Britain. The six young choristers who impressed the judges have now been signed to the SonyBMG record label.

"Pop was my lifeblood - but I haven?t looked at the Top 40 for months," Cowell told The Times. "I discovered the power of these wonderful choral voices. I think this is the kind of music that people now want to hear. It captures a popular mood."

He added: "The choristers we auditioned were not stage school monsters. They had a background in public singing and good parents who supported them. They weren?t starstruck. They just wanted to sing well."
