Despite myself I saw part of this week's festivities. I was pleased to see a Bald Black Guy with Guitar saved for last in his episode, with a superior sob story. He, his mom, and his siblings escaped from I wanna say Nigeria while his father languished in jail on false charges (in the photo provided, Pops was wearing a barrister's wig, so I'm guessing he was some kind of political prisoner).

He has made a preliminary appeal to the VFTW audience by choosing a stage name: Nelly's Echo. Not, mind you, a band name. HIS stage name. There's an inspirational reason for the choice, which I have already forgotten.

I do not say he is Worster-level entertainment, but I do say he will win.
