It was a very good pilot but I think it would have been a better movie rather than tv series. Like most have said already it seems like the concept will only work for one season

I kept hearing them blabbering about her in the commercials and couldn't remember who the heck she was. Thanks to thread title, I got it now. Why would anyone want to watch this?

Since Whitney continues to grab an audience, I wouldn't be shocked to see this become a big success. With the Voice audience being pimped this show, it will be a minor hit and NBC will give it a second season. It will then end up like most of their shows not called The Office and be tossed around until people give up.

I can't even stand watching McTatas in the commercials, which wouldn't be much of a problem since I don't watch anything on NBC, but they are flooding the cable channels with ads too. The blond looks more entertaining.

I agree, I thought some of the others were good, but not McPee. I'm just not sure if that is because she really is bad, or that I truly, truly loathe her. After seeing her in Shark Night, I'm going with she is just that bad.

Just found this site after Googling Smash, and thought I'd join in! My wife started telling me about the show once I started serving here on my base, and I gotta admit she got me hooked!

I know some people here said she was unknown, but I was under the impression she was really well known. Most of the guys here in my division knew about her, and I got them watching it too. And I definitely agree with you guys, I don't hate it! I thought she was one of the better actresses, and she's really stunning. I think I'm a sucker for melissma because I used to sing in church before I started serving so I'm probably bias...haha. But I think I might actually tune in more often when I get the chance!
