I can see this guy getting to the top 6 without even trying. Looks like maybe even further. You can't turn a blind eye to a backstory like that.

The fact that he already has 6 albums makes me feel unwilling to support this guy. Ok he is exempt from getting ridiculed in my chops. No way I should mock a handicap.

He looks much better in that pic above. He looked disheveled tonight and his hair was totally out of control.

Uuugh what the fuck is so courageous about being blind and standing on a square and singing? My dad is blind and he gets up and sings karaoke at bars all the time and no one gets misty eyed when he does. Singing + Being blind does not equal amazing/inspiring. Lots of blind people sing. If this guy actually had an impressive voice, I could understand. But hes not that amazing. He's just riding on his sob story that's not even that moving. No violins for him here, sorry.

Don't worry. Since he's at least in the top 6, we'll hear about it every week and how courageous he is.

he's definitely talented but if he's in the Top 36 , he's going to make the finals ( top 6 or higher) due to the backstory .

6 CDs is forgivable if they're self-released or something. I'm just disappointed he doesn't have a seeing-eye dog, because I was hoping it would get riled up and piss on Simon's leg during the audition.

I find his back story 1000x more compelling than Trach Boy. I found it more interesting that he's basically a genius over being blind. Smart people don't go on Idol very often. I like smart people. I won't tard over them, but we need more smart people in this world. I have a good friend who is a blind magician and does "magic therapy" for blind kids. Lectures about it around the country occasionally, too. He has a degenerative disease and is legally blind, started losing it in his late teens. One of the best people I have ever met. And I think being a blind magician is pretty damn cool. Now my friend was at a wedding once and met a deaf DJ. I like the stuff you don't think goes together.

This guy is a lock for the top 36 if he makes the top 50. There will be an entirely new nation of frau who will swoon and weep over his ass. This will put the Claymates to shame! I wonder, though, since his music is still up on his MySpazz and I thought the top 50 had to remove their music by the first of the year. So maybe he didn't ?

Maybe his tards can be called "The Blind Mans Puffs" The frau will be tripping over themselves worse than him without that blind stick, to mother him and feed him baked goods.
