I find this hysterical mainly because I imagine his selection was based on Idol's desperation to find something "cool", something that will resonate with younger viewers. I can just see Nigel and everyone bringing up his guido juiceheadness and how Jersey Shore is oh-so popular. Bieber...Guido...its what the kids want! That's the mentality. He will have difficulty gaining a solid frau audience. Fraus hate anything displaying any sort of ethnicity (the lone Idol exception is Walking VD Maroulis). To receive the frau vote, you must be of Northern European heritage, many many generations removed.
