You like what is unique, there's something about you guys..... You're the voice of truth! You're the reality check, and I think we need these people!   Who is Steffi D? Read on and learn for yourself... just like she did when she visited this site while she was in the Idol mansion. Here is the stupid first post she was talking about: Quote "Nigel Lies": She loves the Roaring 20s, and she wants us to know it. Dressed in her flapper-esque Minnie Mouse costumes, Steffi D. preens, smiles and plays to the camera like a 5-year-old at her tap dance recital. And you can't help but go "Awww..." as in, "Awwwfully ridiculous." Is she the female Radford? Will she stick around long enough to become the Worst? Let's hope so. Meanwhile, post your thoughts about her here. -------------- (UPDATE: 7/29/06) Okay, so I was really, really wrong about her being the next David Radford. So you can put the machine gun down now, Steffi. Pretty please? |

Am I the only one who got a kick out of watching little Steffi act all tough and angtsy while wearing a mime costume? I'm just a bit disappointed that she sings on-key most of the time. In that department, she's already outclassed Pickler, Ace, Mandisa and Katharine from AI5.

I was thinking, "Oh cute, it's parents' day at the High School of the Arts." Have you noticed that her bows are getting smaller and less obtrusive? Or am I just getting used to them? Maybe she is going to de-bow herself soon.

All the girls always wanted to "squish" Kevin on AI5, so maybe Steffi has something going for herself. Now if we can convince her that she's the next sex symbol... can anyone say  ? :chickenlittle

I saw that and it was so funny. Sass was like "I just wanna do this to you" and then starts pinching her cheeks and Steffi's like :mink and than Sass is like "No, it's a good thing!"

So what are people's opinions on Steffi? Do you like her in a VFTW sense, or do you genuinely like her? I think she's a breath of fresh air my self, but I think her over-the-top outfits are funny.

I actually genuinely like her. Even though she's all into that 20s groove, I think she's one of the least facetious of the female contestants. Ashley Coles and Eva struck me as full of themselves, and Sarah Loverock constantly seems as if she's disenchanted with the entire thing. Kati seems phony and annoying. The list goes on.

I like her! XD She's got this... style about her. Stage presence and such. I don't think she should be a VFTW. D=. Good voice, too. The look on her face when Sass wanted to pinch her cheek was hilarious. And I agree, she is a cutie on stage! XD.

She also proved last week with her slightly bizarre but on-key performance that she's not a one-trick pony, which is more than you can say about some past Idol contestants. *cough*  *cough* If Steffi keeps her 20s persona intact and has a few mediocre performances, she still might be a good VFTW pick further down the road if she stays long enough (say, Top 6 or 7) and beats the more talented contestants such as Eva or Craig. But right now, she's worthy of being in the Top 10 as long as she doesn't screw up this week.
