There was some real serious discussion going on at another board about whether or not Craig is a FTM transsexual. Some are convinced.

I agree. This was the first thing that weirded me out about him, even more than his androgynous appearance. Tattoos are a pretty big decision to make, being that they don't come off easily. And his are pretty huge.

Either he's trying to compensate for something, or he enjoys the pain of the needle.

And whydoiwatchthis, your soapbox is creaking. Because 1.) Simon Cowell would probably say some of the same stuff that's on this thread if this were AI, and 2.) Craig is flaunting his androgyny because it fits his vocal style and sets him apart from the pack. If he wanted to, he could chop the Cloud Strife hair and wear some frickin' flannel to boost his masculinity, but he doesn't.

Being that we are a satirical Web site, people are bound to make jokes about Craig straddling the gender line. I'm keeping my eyes open to ensure that the jokes don't unravel into hatred toward the guy, but I'm not going to turn politically correct and say, "No! You can't joke about the elephant in the living room."

Besides, Canadian Idol is like the Androgynous Parade, with that creepy Celine Dion lookalike who won season 2, Dariyah from last season, and Craig from this season. Apparently, they need the token young gay boy who sounds and looks like a female to complete the top 10 every year. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but it's an odd pattern to have someone like that in the top 10 every year.
