for Jordin.
Bitch gets no respect.
If this truly was a singing competition, she wouldn't be placed behind Blake, Phil, and Chris Richardson in the fucking Dial Idol rankings.
Fuck AI to hell. |

Definitely - kid had the best vocals of the night by far. |

I like her more and more every week, and I am absolutely fine with it if she winds up winning.
Jordin Sparks: AI's best Squeaky Teen since Diana DeGarmo. |

Jordin hasn't gotten much pimping at all, but really is great for her age. I really think she is a good kis and has a future regardless of where she ends up in this crazy contest. She is a pretty young girl and if she loses a few pounds and gets that wow factor, really could have a career.
There are so many that have the bod and the face, but can't sing. and others that have the natural talent but will never have a neck LOL.
If AI had a six month get in shape program between the 24 pick and the time they went on the air, they could do wonders. Maybe add a weight loss sponser. |

| Jordin was the only one who impressed me last night (besides Sanjaya's monkey dancing and Sligh's shoutout). |

I think Jordin is absolutely beautiful, and yeah she impressed me too. I loved her performance, and how she played the role of the song. Very good. |

| If the role of the song is to be as boring as you possibly can, then she did an excellent job. Compared to the other competitors, she's boring and forgetable. |

I thought she was the best by far last night too.
I liked her before, now I'm hoping she gets to the finals. Way more personality than no-neck. |

Jordin has rocked the house the last two weeks in a row. I continue to be impressed by her.
I honestly hope she does very well in this and goes on to successs as she seems like a pretty genuine person. |

I agree that Jordin was the best of the night not just vocally but in 'selling' it. For all of Melinda's talent, she would smile all the way through The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Jordin will win. Reasons;
1 - Youth. AI wants a winner who will appeal to it's younger demographic, especially after the debacle of Ol' Man Hicks winning last year. (and I predict next year they'll lower the age limit again)
2 - Marketability. WAY more options to market (Disney, fast foods, girls clothing companies, shoe companies etc.) than fatass LaKisha or no-neck Melinda.
3 - Looks. Jordin can look young and fresh, and even though she's no stunner she way outpaces the other hags. AND because she's so young a regimen of professional image specialists have plenty of time to work on her as she blossoms like a sweet flower (ick!)
4 - Malleability - Once again because she's young and inexperienced, she'll be way easier to order around, direct and mold into an image that AI wants to present.
5 - SURPRISE WINNER!! - oh my gosh look, that sweet young girl unexpectedly beat out the far more experienced favorites!! Isn't that a WONDERFUL Cinderella story!!! How good will that look in the press?
6 - and oh yeah she sings pretty good.
So I'm using my superhuman spider-powers of marketing and publicity to gaze into the future and figure out the logic of the situation, because if I was in charge this is totally what I'd do.
Prove me wrong, kids - prove me wrong. |

*sigh* I guess you're right. Forgive me for thinking that this competition is about actual talent when really it's about boring, bitchy youngsters who can't sing at all . |

| Ford, you know what? Given her competition this year, I don't think I really would mind that she did win. She is growing on me. |

Somebody at TWOP posted pictures of her performing at the "Right To Life" concert (Which is an anti-abortion group) and found a quote of her saying something a long the lines of "Mandisa was my favorite because of her values". Which I'm guessing means the gay thing. I hate this bitch. |
