| Hell the whole thing with Tadashi a few weeks ago. Sure he was finally able to convince him to not jump. But it took him 40+ times? Man he really wanted to photocopy his ass. |

So now Sylar/Matt became like Jessica/Nikki in Season 1. Two personalities in one person.
Jeremy, touch-and-die boy, is killed by the police, and then Samuel brings down the whole office
Tracy lost faith in a normal life, and decides to join the carnival
Claire found out Rebecca is the invisible girl.
Overall, a good episode. |

I just wanted to see Charlie. I always liked her character.
The only major thing I disliked about the episode was how Tracy neglected to look around and spot Sylar when Samuel originally took her to the Carnival. I have a feeling she'll either A) befriend Sylar/Nathan/Whoever he hell he thinks he is, or B) have a relationship with him. At the point, unless the show picks up a good storyline, I've lost all hope of the show going back to season 1 greatness. |

Good luck with that. The more time they spend on Sylar storylines, the worse it gets.
This last episode as a case in point - the Matt/Sylar battle was inane. First, the sex with your wife was like every bad Cheech & Chong 'sex with your seester' joke. And then getting drunk to drown out the Sylar voice, what? Was he planning to stay drunk forever? You could just sense that it would end badly, and it did.
And as already been stated in this thread, the Hiro/Charlie storyline is also a dead end.
I have been enjoying the Claire at college story, but did we really need the bi-curious angle with the roommate? Kinda cliche and predictable too, IMO. If there was anything better to watch in this timeframe, I'd stop watching this POS.
I do get a reprieve this week - the Falcons play in MNF so I'll be watching football... |

Considering that gays pretty much run Hollyweird the bi-curious storyline was a requirement to keep the gay rights groups from getting them cancelled prematurely.
As it is, while ratings are still flat, just about every other show on NBC is doing worst. Meaning that the show caught a break and won't be banished to Fridays as soon as everyone was expecting.
Just read in this week's TV Guide that a major male character will die this season. I hope it's Sylar but, more likely it could be anyone but him. |

Is it too obvious that Hiro would be the one to die? The writers haven't been able to write a half-decent storyline for him since season one, so I wouldn't be upset at all.
Oh, and I cringed when Matt said he was calling Mohinder. I swear to god, if Mohinder creeps back into this show... |

^Oh no I was so happy not to see Mohinder and his lame-ass narrating. Now he's coming backkk
Hiro can die. It won't change a thing about the show.
So now I realize Charlie is Emma from Glee |

| Maybe they'll bring Mohinder back just to kill him off. |

| My guess is the male character who dies is Nathan. Hell he's dead already and so they let him finally go. They can't keep both him and Sylar around and as Sylar has the copyright on that body. I can't see them losing him. Unless they toast both Sylar and Nathan. |

| I don't think it will be "Nathan" because they need him for the finale to kill him again, its a tradition. I think it actually might be Hiro, well I hope so anyways |

Ya know, Parkman (Grunberg) has been doing a lot of promo for his band and other stuff lately. Maybe they plan on killing him off and taking creepy Sylar with him?
I think I really will stop watching Heroes if they kill off Hiro. Not so much that he's my favorite character but more so that they are totally ignoring the established mythology that they created in the first three seasons. Claire's blood can heal. Hiro can go back in time. What they did with Nathan at the end of Season 3 was just stupid and if Hiro dies because everyone somehow forgot how HRG came back from the dead then Im done.
Maybe Charlie can take Hiro with her to Glee! |

If Hiro un-kills Mohinder I will kick a puppy.
Meh episode. The Charlie stuff was alright, if only because I love the actress now that I've fallen in love with her Glee character. I don't get what the Noah/blonde bitch stuff was about, though, unless it's supposed to foreshadow him falling in love with Tracy. |

I'm excited to see Emma again in Heroes. I was wondering if they had to shoot new scenes for this episode, or these were just already shot scenes from season 1.
I enjoy Hiro/Charlie storyline.
Samuel is such an interesting character. Manipulative and mysterious.
Mohinder = Please tell me Samuel is not gonna tell Hiro to save him. His power is superstrength which is crap, and he's annoying as hell. Why want him back? |

I was sure Charlie was going to get hit by a truck or something like that stepping out the door.
Word on the street has it that Nathan is going to die. If so, that's pretty anti-climatic since they burnt his body at the end of last season anyway. Back stage reason is the show is looking to par back permenant cast members to keep the budget down.
The new(from the past) blonde in HRG's life looks to be a yet another recurring character that will probably pop back into his life now that he's seperated from his wife. Was under the impression she was "one of them" since that was the way the company paired agents up. If so, we never did see what sort of power she had. |

I posted this rant at Sucks RIP HEROES
Season one was sooo good. Sure it had its problems but it was good. Every character had a purpose. Sure I disliked some of them but they all played a good part of the show. Peter while naive was likable, Nathan was being played by Linderman and his mother but ended up being the Hero in the end, Mama Petrelli was a fierce bitch, Hiro and Ando were funny and likable, Claire was young, confused, and you felt sorry for her, Matt Parkman, well he was boring untill he dumped his wife, Mohinder was stupid but when he was BFF with Sylar(before he knew Sylar) that was hilarious, HRG was a mystery was he good or was he evil? Sylar was actually menacing and scary and intriguing, Niki's power confused me but her struggle with Jessica was awesome and DL and Micah were there to support and help her.
Then season 2 they started to lose it. They stick Hiro in 1600 Japan. That was so fucking lame. He was away from all the other characters and they wasted too much time. They added Adam, Maya, Aljandro, Monica, and Elle already on an over sized cast. While I liked Monica I would of rather they kept DL alive and showed more with him, Niki, and Micah and explore that family more instead of killing him off. Peter losing his memory and being in Ireland was nauseating. I would of liked them show more of Nathan going downhill after thinking Peter died, Claire and West don't get me started! Maya, ALjandro, Sylar god another terrible idea.
Then season 3 was a fucking mess from the start. Ok Future Peter is the one that shoots Nathan. Why couldn't of Future Peter told Nathan what happens in the future if he tells the truth instead of killing his own damn brother? Also future Peter acting was 100X worse then present Peter if thats possible. Mohinder injects himself with some powers and kidnaps people and puts them in cacoons LAME. Matt falls in love with Daphne after meeting her for 2 minutes then totally forgetting about her 5 minutes after her death LAME, Hiro and Ando stupid antics, annoying and pointless, hyping villians only to kill them all off. Claire being such a whiny bitch HATE, Nathan all of a sudden beats up Peter and turns on all the Heroes then turn around again to save them, then killing off Nathan instead of letting it go they have to turn Sylar into Nathan. Dumbest plot ever.
Along with all of that I think the constant Sylar bullshit is what killed the show for me. His many idenity crises was old. He was a great villian during season 1 but that was it. They should of let him die at the finale. His slicing peoples heads open got old and boring, his parent issues were not interesting. They ruined so many good characters in favor of spending so much time on his bullshit. The show turned into a giant Sylar circle jerk. It pisses me off that they played along with what the Sylar fans want and not only kept him around, but give him too much screentime!
I am done with this show. I will still read what you all have to say in the thread to keep me updated. The way they treat the fans and now the cast(How Pasdar found out he was done by reading the script) is pathetic. I hope PAsdar is as outspoken as his wife |

Quote: Heroes star Adrian Pasdar 'learned of death from script'

HEROES star Adrian Pasdar, who plays the character Nathan Petrelli, has been axed from the show and reports say that the actor only learned of his demise after reading a script.
It is believed that Pasdar was not told by the show’s producers beforehand that he would be exiting the show. There had been speculation that a major character would be leaving the US superhero series.
Techincally, Nathan Petrelli had been dead for some time. The character was killed in the final episode of the last series however another character, who has shape-shifter powers, took his form, meaning that Pasdar would stay in the show.
Popular in the US, Heroes follows the adventures of ordinary people who possess superhuman powers. It features stars David Anders and Kristen Bell. |
