I told Mr. Daf that if he sat outside and passed out candy, I'd run him out a beer once in a while. Sucker. That guy will do anything for beer. |

Happy Halloween! Let the Creepiness Begin! You were warned! :muhahahaha!
Spiders have always freaked me out. What I have recently discovered has scarred me for life.
This spider is called the Goliath “Bird Eating” spider. It is often described as being as big as a dinner plate.
Yeah, right. To add a little perspective, I want to point out what is.never.mentioned.
This spider is big enough to cover your face.
You read that right the first time. I said Your FACE! This is a smaller Goliath “Bird Eating” Spider. They get much bigger.
So, being the glutton for punishment that I am. I decided to Google “Bird Eating Spider” and found these images:
This is the creepy part. The spider eating the bird, in the pictures I posted above, is not the Goliath ‘Bird Eating’ Spider. It is a Golden Orb Spider. Know what that means? There is more than one species of spider that is big enough to cover your face in order to suck on brains! I suspect that’s what the Goliath was doing to that little girl I posted too. Why else would someone put a freakishly large spider on their face? Spider induced brain damage is the only explanation.
If evolution continues at this pace, soon we won’t have to worry about global warming. We will be battling off giant ass spiders that want to suck that sweet, sweet gray matter out of our heads.
One more thing you need to know so you can prepare yourself. The Goliath Spider attacks by sneaking up from behind it’s victim. So watch your backs okay? |

I did post a warning about the creepiness you know. I almost included this:
See that? Yet another species of giant ass spider. Once again, the spider always go for the brains first. Even with a lizard. Spiders must consider brains a delicacy. Funny how scientist always leave out these little details. |

^Myst, that's starting to look like my front porch. Not the pumpkin puke, but the beer cans
Best costume of the night goes to the kid who came to my door dressed as a blind NFL referee Second best was a kid dressed as a pimp daddy and his friend (another boy) dressed up like a cheap tramp in a sequined dress.

Lola, do cats go for human brains? Spiders will. Once they get big enough.
Okay next year I’m going to do the story about the “Mandrill Vampires of Bioko Island.“
Only 364 days to go… You have been warned! :muhahahahaha |

Guys I almost had a panic attack when I opened this thread. Thanks for triggering my arachnophobia. D:
I was a ninja and my roommate was a pirate. We had an epic duel outside our apartment. I have bruises. |

My 9-year-old Worster went as V this year. He won the costume contest at our carnival. He basically threatened to blow up Parliament if his demands weren't met. He came away with a ton of loot.
There goes my weight loss plan!
Happy Halloween everyone!

I hate spiders.
NOT COOL, Spoon.
*shudder*
I am battling the flu, and downing Nyquil like a junkie, and when I slip into that sweet medication induced coma, I'll be dreaming of spiders trying to eat my brains.
Thanks. |

Well I would play a lullaby on violin in order to help you ease into a NyQuil induced sleep. But I think I read somewhere that either violin music or NyQuil may attract giant-ass brain sucking spiders...
So I don't know the right thing to do for you now Nikki. |
