Just a reminder, the performance show is on Wednesday night due to a State of the Union address on Tuesday. AI results show airs on Thursday night.

I am assuming Nick/Normund will be the VFTW pick next week. There seems to be a lot of filler in this group, so I think he's a shoe in. The only threat is Adam Lambert, who could be possibly be a VFTW-esque contestant, based on his pre-showness.
All the girls are filler. So Nick will likely make it.
OH, and Von isn't in the same group. |

Adam's for sure going to get maximum pimpage next week. Though Matt Giraud might sneak up on him, he's got a decent fanbase over at the scaries and all the Elliot Yamin tards love him.
I'm sure the pick will be Nick (Norman) next week. I sure hope he performs as Norman....
The girls in that group are even worse than this weeks' were...if that's possible. For that matter, all the girls this year are total shit.
Thank the vote for the worst gods that Nick and Nate aren't in the same group.

OK Let's analyze the competion
Adam Lambert - Judges favorite, betting odds favorite, getting pimped in the media, lots of screentime, pre-show buzz VERY high, his YouTube clips are some of the most popular.
Kris Allen - next to no screen time. Very little buzz. Very attractive though.
Matt Giraud - Adam's biggest competition. About equal screentime. FAR Less buzz than Adam though.
Matt Breitzke - Too much like Michael Sarver and far less likable
Kai Kalama - audition shown and a sob story with the sick mother, but got no more attention past that. No buzz going in
Nick/Normund - Lots of screentime ala Tatiana. Painted as someone who doesn't take the competition seriously. Will probably go the same way as Tatiana.
Megan C. - Audition show. Simon loves her. Betting sights are giving her great odds for some reason. I think she'll end up being a wild card pick. As her vocal stylings are on the quirky side. Gorgeous girl though.
Mishavonna - Very little screen time. She's toast
Allison Iraheta - very little screentime compared to her other teen competition
Jasmine Murray - got lots of screentime due to bikini girl. Judges love her and think she's marketable.
Jesse Langseth - very little screentime. The only screentime she did had was Simon telling her she didn't have a chance in hell. Doesn't help that her DUI and mugshot have been plastered across the internet.
Jeannine Vailles - no one knows who this girl is. She's toast. |
