Does Sanjaya Think He Doesn't Need VFTW? Nah!

TMZ.com is reporting that a source close to Sanjaya's family says that those of us at Votefortheworst.com are "jerks" and their message to VFTW is: "Thanks guys, but he doesn't need your votes." On the contrary, we think this report is fishy. First of all, a source "close to the family" means it's not actually his family. We think Sanjaya is smart enough to know any press is good press. And secondly, Sanjaya has been embracing his VFTW-ness recently with fun performances, crazier hairstyles, and more sass. We think Sanjaya's in on the fun. So to the Malakar family: feel free to contact us, we love Sanjaya and we would love to see him win. The true haters are the people out there who bash him and say he sucks. Wrong. Sanjaya is the best thing to happen to American Idol in years, and we'd love to chat with the Malakars because we love them so much! Hell yes, we love Sanjaya. (And not in that naughty way, either.) We love how he throws a wrench in to your white-bread-suburbia engine every goddamn week. We love how he destroys would-be idols by merely entering the room. We love the way you hate us for loving him. I feast on your desperate anger, and your horrific spelling and grammar!

I for one started voting for Sanji because I thought he was the worst, but I've learned to like the kid. He has something, not quite sure what, but it's something...different. Sanjaya as the american idol.....it's so crazy it just might work.

Well written Dave!! I had to go cuss out some other website for falling for it and trying to say Sanjaya said that.

I bet the "source" was Simon Cowell in disguise trying to piss off all of VFTW!!!

Wow they are so scared as they should be.

PS: I totally love Sanjaya and defend him to all them cruel haters out there. This is his safe haven Malakar family(here and Survivor Sucks where almost everybody embraces him)

Well said, and the only people saying he is a bad singer is the VFTW haters. Sanjaya is talented; he's just not what is expected to win American Idol... which is why it would be excellent to see him win.

YES he is different than some, but he might just make it . Different is what people want now. Not someone that fits in a mold.

Sanjaya is the most entertaining person on the show; he may not be the best singer, but he is the most entertaining as an American Idol should be. Sanjaya Rules. Don't be upset though, if all goes well this will be the last season you have to look at the web site, because American Idol will be over for good. VFTW

I love this "secret person close to the family" who isn't ACTUALLY Sanjaya, but is his mouthpiece, apparently. And this secret, ahem fictional Sanjaya "friend" is saying things so "scandalous" that they need to keep their identity a mystery to protect themselves. This is a big, fat joke. I guess TMZ ran out of Drunk Paris and Britney stories they could be inventing, I mean covering.

And to the people who keep writing me about how we shouldn't vote for Sanjaya because he has an ego and a bad attitude-- That's why we LOVE him. Don't you want to root for the guy who says F-U to Simon's face? Oh right, this is the same Sanjaya who we're "breaking his spirit", and "ruining his chances at a normal life." Sanjaya is a stud, he knows what he's doing.

Actually, the show is renewed through 2007, so FOX has to let it live for Seasons 7 and 8. __________________________
