My name is Betty-Lou and I am 20 years old. I was diagnosed with lung cancer when I was 13, i was diagnosed with heart cancer when i was 15, and last year i was diagnosed with breast cancer. I can’t tell you how much we love what you’re doing. Watching people freak out about Sanjaya has got to be the most priceless thing I’ve ever watched! These poor, sad people don’t realize that what they are watching is ALREADY contrived and total BS… so hearing them whine about how you’re “ruining” something that was total BS to begin with is classic. The only downside is that you’re actually helping the evil producers. If it wasn’t for Sanjaya and you guys – there’d be almost no reason for anyone to watch this year.

And big companies should make billions while you shut your mouth, screw your free speech, those kids need to sing. AI is going to save the world, and you are going to end it. I have to say, I love reading the posts on your site. The more hate mail you get, the funnier it is to me. I especially love the posts about suing you. For what? Not taking their reality TV show seriously? It would be so cool if we could sue people for not voting the way we want them to. I would have two elections worth of money coming my way! Seriously people, it you are that upset, contact FOX and American Idol. They are the ones that have set up a voting system that allows for manipulation of the votes. Ever get a busy signal? That’s just one more vote not being counted for your person. It allows for unpopular people to gain some ground. Of course, there is no way they are going to change the voting. They love the publicity, and they love saying, “30 million people voted this week.” Also, chill out about “real” singers being voted off and having their careers ruined. They have all had great exposure. If they are good, they will have careers after the show whether they win or lose (they may even win an Oscar).
Everyone needs to just chill out! At this point in the game, everyone who has real talent has been seen and will make it at some point. They don't need to win American Idol to make it big. The proof is in the past. Don't feed into this site or other haters out there that have nothing better to do than try to bring down people that are just trying to do something that they are passionate about. Just relax and vote as you like. American Idol is on to this and will do what needs to be done if that is the course they plan to take. Don't buy into the hype! That's all this is! I am going to start by saying that I have never and will never watch American Idol. I simply don't care. However, the site interested me so I decided to log on and see what you were about. I still don't care about the show, but if the spelling, grammer, bigotry, and histrionic idocy of the people posting asking you to stop what you are doing are any indication of their capabilities when it comes to understanding the legal system well enough to sue you then I think you have very little to worry about. I only wish this many people cared about the war, the economy, the environment, immigration, voting, or any of the other things in this world that are infinitely more important than ANY television show half as much as they obviously care about the entertainment that the music industry tells them they like.
