Anybody who knows anything about AI season 7 knows that Amanda and Carly are good friends. So, why you would ask her something negative about Carly is beyond me.

Second, while I understand everyone has a right to their opinion, what are you basing your opinion of Carly on? Have you ever actually MET her? Carried on a conversation with her? Even thought about the fact that she is human being with feelings, emotions, dreams? I have met Carly four times and talked with her AT LENGTH about many things, including AI and her music. She is honestly one of the most kind, genuine and caring people I have ever met... I love Carly and know she is destined for greatness.

First of all, I'm not Carly. Second, if you want me to, I would be happy to come here (as soon as I know) and tell you the date Carly's new CD will drop. But first, be on the lookout for a Carly/MJ duet...

Third, I have done my research, unlike the person that wrote the WSJ article. But regardless of what you think the truth is about Carly's past record deal, I don't see any reason to attack her personally and call her all those horrific names. If a record company wants to sign her, what's the big deal? It's their money and their time.

And what I posted yesterday had nothing to do with her past or her past in the music industry. It had to do with WHO SHE IS AS A PERSON, which is what Amanda was asked about. And as I said yesterday, she is a wonderful person. Frankly, I could care less what anyone thinks of her past record deal but I felt that I should speak out about who she is as a person since I've spend quite a bit of time with her.

I don't expect anyone here to change their minds just as I'm not going to change mine. And if hearing what Amanda had to say doesn't changes yours at all, then I don't know what else to say - I am just speaking from my experience and what I've seen firsthand. Just as you have the right to say what you think, I have the right to say what I think. And I think Carly is wonderful and deserves all the success that is coming her way...
