Tom Lowe Joins VFTW Radio to Discuss AI Controversies

Category:

This year seems like the year of the controversial contestants, but last year had its share of controversy as well. Join VFTW radio as we discuss Idol controversies with Tom Lowe, who made it to the top 50 of season 6. He was in Chris Sligh, Blake Lewis, and Rudy Cardenas's beatboxing "How Deep Is Your Love Group", his audition (only shown in England) was one of the best, but suddenly this soulful singer was given a mysterious boot just before the voting after a few scandals surfaced. But were those scandals even real? What is Tom doing now? And what did he think of his time on the show? Make sure to listen live at 10 PM Eastern, 9 PM Central this Wednesday, March 12 to find out this and more. And you can call 218-486-1300 and put in the code 556833 to talk live with Tom and ask him your questions. It's sure to be a fun show, so don't miss it! Check back in this post an hour before the show for a "listen live" link that you can click on to listen to us on the All Digital Radio Network.

He was in the same group as Sligh and B-B-B-Blake and he didn't make it? Compared to SSSSSSSSthligh and his wispy speech and Blake he is golden! Also I have never listen to a radio show b4, are they archived for later listening pleasure? I am intrigued, as I do not know what alleged scandals were. I am mostly likely unable to listen live. And I want to be more involved with this site since I am now certain Idol is rigged. (See one of my earlier posts about Castro's horrific butchering of "Hallelujah")
Anyways if Tom reads this, I think you are absolutely adorable and I <3heart<3 your voice!

Chris Sligh was horrible! I really really couldn't stand him singing. I went to the american idol tour during the summer and was even worse live. *shudders*

I bet you they took Tom Lowe out because American Idol knew that if he made it to the top 24 and continued on to the top 12 that he would have surpassed Chris Sligh and possibly Blake Lewis. Blake was a favorite to win and if Tom Lowe stayed Blake's runner up spot might have been his to take.

wow. just watched his audition, and he is AMAZING. apparently he was too good for AI. you rock tom.

funny how his boy band was signed to the same label simon worked for, and he got cut, but carly was signed to the same label randy worked for, and she got through (and is pimped to no end). stupid plant.

oh, I apologize, to Chris especially, I stand corrected, I wasn't aware that he was a legit artist, I will definitely look into he more closely, I was just going by what I saw last year, and we all know that Idol performances are totally flattering. I was also going by the pic on the home page which makes it seem he hates VFTW. Again I am sorry, I am not afraid to admit when I am not accurate. Does he have a site or a myspace where I can go and check it out?

There must be some BS reason why the cut him. Some trumped up charge or something.

Tom is British, gay, had former connections to an Idol judge (Simon) and there were rumors of some nude modeling or something like that. He's like all Season 7 contestants rolled into one.
