I think that A. Idol itself is now deserving of our vote, and in honor of Sanjaya and Amanda, we have to do something. I do love Chikezie, but is there some way we can vote AI itself as the worst????
I will never, ever, ever vote for Kristy, evah, evah. She is the cheerleader and Amanda is the underdog, and it would have meant a lot more to Amanda to be in the top 10.
I am waiting for Amanda's CD - at least now she can get a jump start on getting a recording out while her fans are waiting.

Anyone besides me get the disinct impression that Amanda actually wanted to go home tonight? Honestly, she was just a fish out of water on this show, and she and everyone else (I'm looking at you producers) knew it. That's not a knock against her, trust me. All I'm saying is, on a show where people are going to be singing Neil Diamond, Mariah Carey, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, where the hell does Amanda fit in? She could never win, because she's playing a completely different ballgame than the rest.
I think she accomplished what she wanted from the show, which was to get her name out there, build a small fan base, and be able to sell out bars in Lafayette. I wish her the best of luck.
That being said, holy shit, can you believe the group of sad sacks that makes up the top ten? I can't even remember half of them, and the other half I wish I couldn't. What a giant turd Nigel and company have taken on America. Just when you thought it couldn't get any more sterile, mind-numbing, and sleep-inducing than Jordin Sparks, here comes American Idol Season 7.

This site is not a failure it makes this shitfest of a show bearable. If it wasn't for Votefortheworst.com and me getting my first computer i would have given up on AI years ago. If this was just a website that did not have a message board or blogs and all you do is vote for the worst this site would have been dead years ago.
