The Amanda Overmyer Tribute Radio Show

Posted by thefunnystone on March 19th, 2008 at 2:00 PM

Amanda Overmyer has been our pick for 4 weeks now and we want to see her win the whole shebang. Due to the love for our VFTW chile, we are dedicating our radio show this week to her. If she's still in after tonight, it will be the Save Amanda Overmyer call-in special where we convince everyone to vote for her. If she's gone (hopefully not!), then it will be the Amanda Overmyer Idol memories show where we talk about all the good times we had watching her. We prefer #1 though. Make sure to listen live at 10 PM Eastern, 9 PM Central this Wednesday, March 19 to celebrate all that is Amanda. And you can call 218-486-1300 and put in the code 556833 to talk live with Dave and Insane. The show is going to be a lot of fun, and we have new headsets, so you have to hear our improved sound. Check back in this post an hour before the show for a "listen live" link that you can click on to listen to us on the All Digital Radio Network.

Thank you JohnnyDrama very, very much. You're both very fortunate to have each other as friends. She comes off as a very gracious lady. Honest and sweet ... just the opposite of Carly the Plant.

I like that she looks forward to doing "big biker rallies." Bikers are cool. The last true American cowboys. Ask her for us if she ever saw the old TV series "Then Came Bronson."

Best of luck, Amanda.

Also, a question. As the 11th placer, is it possible that Amanda is 1st alternate or something for the Top Ten AI Tour this summer? Say one of the 10 can't perform. Would they call her? I'm thinking for example, on say after the first two concerts, Carly quits because when she's introduced the audience screams "Plant! Plant!" and boos her or something.

Just a thought. Or is that a wish? Both, heh.

Thanks for doing the math for me, I was really wondering how much of the vote I accounted for...ass. So what you are saying is, just because I vote for someone a few times doesn't mean that they get a free pass to the next week and if they do get voted off the show isn't rigged? Thanks for being so smart and explaining how the votes work, you are awesome. Keep it real brake.

Unoriginal or not, that is still one ugly broad that bears a slight resemblance to Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

You and Johnny sound like those butt hurt teens when their fav gets voted off, "Oh, she deserved it so much more than anyone else, she is so down to earth, how could this happen? Blah, blah blah."
Its funny how you talk on here as if you are talking to her. Your comment, "You are so lucky to have eachother as friends, bikers are cool." Come on, be honest, you are a huge boy band fan, you rock a Lance Bass t-shirt. You are ashamed of this and so you are trying to front that you like bikers and rock? As you type these messages reminiscing of your girl are you blasting Boyz 2 men in the background? It's so hard to say goodbye.
JDrama, since you and B-Juice are bff and you are going to ask her if she is a fan of the biker show go ahead and ask her if she is a big fan of M. Keaton, for me? Thanks it means so much to me. Peace.

"Coal Miner's Daughter" -- IF ONLY. I'm sure she never heard of it. More like

"some white trash version of Shania karaoke"

as the song says. Humph.

Disgustedly,
BW

Thanks, JD.

Amanda---HAYILL YEEEEAHHH we like you for real! I always love it when someone from Indiana manages not to humiliate our state . . . and you weren't just non-embarrassing, you were smart, gracious and real.

Best wishes,
BW
