It's been a great ride and we've had so much fun with everyone over the last 10 years making fun of a television show that people took too seriously. Thanks for all of your support - this video is for all of you to remember the great times we've had. Post your favorite VFTW memories in the comments.

The site will stay up until May 31st, so feel free to poke around and save the things you want to keep. If you've enjoyed the site over the years, feel free to consider donating to my current adoption fundraiser. In closing, thie site has always been satire in good fun to point out how seriously people take television shows. It's been a blast bonding with everyone here over the years. And of course you should always continue to vote for the worst in every televised talent competition as long as they exist.

Candice Glover Wins American Idol 12

Candice Glover, the woman who was not good enough to even make the voting rounds the past 2 seasons, ended up winning American Idol season 12. A fitting end to a season that was highly manipulated to produce a female winner. Unfortunately, our pick Kree did not win, but that's OK as we had fun getting her to the end and supporting other phenomenal picks like Lazaro, Zoanette, and Charlie this year. It was VFTW's final season and we had a blast thanks to all of our wonderful fans. Thanks for keeping it fun!

Kree Harrison struggled to skreech the notes on her winning single, All Cried Out. That's a pretty good sign of what we'd get if she wins. This means she must win. Not that Candice was much better. And not that either of these two could become legitimate singing stars in today's image obsessed market. But hey, Kree is definitely worse and the show clearly wants Candice to win, so we must inkreese our efforts to help Kree win, because this terrible season deserves it.

Some were worried for Kristie when they heard it was Beatles Week, and with reason as Kristie couldn't sing anything not titled God Bless The USA. So she turned Eight Days A Week into a yokel song and if John Lennon were alive to hear this disaster, he'd kill himself...

Angie Miller is Sent Home! VFTW Victory!

Holy shit! Angie Miller was just sent home on American Idol and Kree Harrison, VFTW pick, made it to the top 2. We did, it, Worsters! We eliminated any semblance of a marketable winner and got our girl Kree into the finale. BWAHAHA! Angie wanted to join Mount Failmore with the other Idol winners who did nothing with their careers, but now she can't even aim that high. Randy Jackson Sees the Writing on the Wall and Quits American Idol

Reports have been coming out all week that the 4 judges will be fired at the end of this season of American Idol. Rather than wait to be fired, the most useless judge of all, Randy Jackson, has decided to quit. He tells E! News:

“Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season,” he says. “I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.”

Only Randy would start his statement with, "Yo! Yo! Yo!" He is probably the person who has been paid the most money to do absolutely nothing interesting for 12 years. Let's all take a moment to reflect on the awesome Randy Jackson moments he brought us over his 12 seasons of Idol... You can't thing of a single one either, can you?

We couldn't have said it any better than that billboard from Kree's hometown visit: KREEM ALWAYS RISES TO THE TOP! The judges clearly want Kree to go home and they gave her the "It's time for you to go" talk they've given to many contestants this season during their last week. Their Angie/Candice finale is all the producers have been wishing for all season, so let's not give it to them.
