VFTW used to be funny when AI had real bad singers like that past winner Taylor Hicks but this season, you picked Philip Phillips who is not even a bad singer. That being said, your site is becoming irrelevant and obnoxious!!! Your quest to destroy deserving singers to win like Jessica Sanchez is really retarded. You are not only campaigning against Jessica but against the entire Filipino community. Just wait till one of the Filipino hackers shut down your site.

Filipino hackers? I always thought the group anonymous would do something like that......

A show like this only works if both the participants and the audience believe it's real. It's not real. If anyone actually believes Jessica got the lowest number of votes this week, well, I have lots of things I'd like to sell you.

What do you got, Eighties? I got lots of monopoly money left over, and I'm eager to spend it!

Laugh

Loved your response to the troll, and your bits about the way they manipulate the way the kids sound on the show. I missed the contestant taking out the earpiece, but I believe it totally. Nigel is such a little toad, I wouldn't doubt that he had that Chinese ballet dancer crippled back a season or so ago on SYTYCD, purely for ratings.

By the way, I do not think Jess got the lowest number of votes this week. I'm not THAT gullible. Now tell me more about that nice bridge you have to sell near Brooklyn...

Well, LadyHeather, it's not just about bridges... I'm still sitting on about 500,000 vinyl albums of something that didn't sell well in 1993, we're kinda hoping that kind of music comes back again soon.

Anyway... I love the josefs of the world. They're completely unaware that their claim that Jessica "deserves" to win over any other contestant is just fandom. I guess it's redundant to point out that the girl lacks:

1) Experience. At anything. At all.

2) Pitch, especially under pressure.

3) Taste. Her song choices are Hooveriffic.

I'm also entertained by the whole "Philippine community" thing, which reminds me of people who claim if you don't like 0bama then you're racist. The two are not connected. At all. And surprisingly, I really don't give a rat's ass what "ethnicity" anyone is. At the end of the day, I either like what they do or not. I liked Hejun... who, as I recall, was of Korean heritage. I don't see the Korean hackers out there DOSing the AI site... or maybe they are, they're just the same people who work on the Korean missile program...

I highly doubt I'd buy anything she does, or could do even with an army of producers working with her. Elise, however, has that kind of voice that... oops, there's my fandom coming across...

If we're not careful, EightiesBand, "people will say we're in love." (Now THERE's a song...but I digress).;)

Loved "Hooverific." I just can't bring myself to say "suck." Now whenever I have to hear Kelly Clarkson I will just think that her life vucuums without me. My children are very familiar with me saying that something bad just really Hoovers. I know, I have no life. So shoot me. (Preferably before the next Idol episode.)

As to Jessica being Philippine, I guess I had not been paying any attention. I had been trying to figure out if she was Mexican, black, or asian. I guess it would help if I watched the bio pieces they did, but to do that, 1) I'd have to care; 2) My dvr would have to break; or 3) someone would have to have a gun to my head. A very big gun.

This whole Jessica thing really irritates me for some reason. The staging was amateurish and laughable, so that's no prob--I think it was the amazing Randi telling America that we got it wrong. (And to vote for the "best." (a real shot at us--hee hee)). When he arrogantly told America that we got it wrong it was like so much big government telling us we don't know how to run our own lives. Big Brother knows best (In Randi's case or Jello's ass's case, REALLY Big Brother.)

So an open letter to Randi and Nigel: America didn't get it wrong, we got it right. Jessica is boring, pagentish, and is never going to get any better and we want her gone and gone now. If I could vote against her, I would. Instead I will vote for Phil Phil.

Come on America, audiences shouldn't be afraid of their tv producers, tv producers should be afraid of their audiences.

LadyHeather and Eighties Band

Jessica's dad is Hispanic and her mom is Asian. I just happened to see that on the show but anyway...I don't know why they keep shoving this lil girl down our throat....even moreso than any of the others....besides I read that she was also on America's Got Talent and that she was in some Disney production with Brandy and some other gigs.....dang girl has nine lives...ugh!....if she was so great she shouldn't need Idol.....she should already have a record deal by now....not hating on the kid, just saying...she is seasoned/experienced (somewhat, not totally, just gives her an edge---but still that does not make her the best in my eyes)....and I am by no means an Elise or Erika fan but.... Elise has experience with a band and as an opening act for Snoop Dog,Nappy Roots and others...even Erika Van Pelt is/was a more experience cast member of the top ten, she has or had her own little entertainment company....so they too have and had a little of an edge......and Jimmy keeps complaining about other cast members that really seem to have lesser experiences such as Holly and DeAndre.....

.....I do agree that this show is rigged...I see right thru it....I know everyone has a different favorite singer....I happened to like DeAndre but not many people like the type of high pitched songs he sings....which is fine, to each his own....however, is it just me or did Jimmy seem excessively rude to DeAndre?.....it seemed that he often went out of his way to be crass and obnoxious towards him....I know he was critical in many ways and correct like he can be to others as well...but he offered tricks, perks and additional tidbits to the others that he really never really shared with DeAndre.....hmmmmmmm.....I can be critical without being rude.....

Skylar.....?.........no one has said much about her.....

I don't listen to country but I can tolerate it if I have to.....and I have a lot of respect for it because I think these songs are heartfelt and usually tell great stories..........however, Skylar is a good lil performance.....but her twang is a bit much for me......
