However, there's people that do mission work for the purpose of bringing a little hope to people that don't have many. And they try to do it the right way, just talking and explaining, without trying to impose anything. I can't agree with that statement. Once you start talking and explaining, you're on the cusp of imposing. And it is very difficult not to cross the line into prostheletyzing, especially if the mission is being sponsored by an organization with that goal (and this is the case with most religious missions). I applaud people who go to an impoverished country to help people try to have a better existence. It's my belief (and many others) that it is best if done with no strings attached.
