I wonder what would have happened if she had released a country album after Idol like they tried to get her to do. I always thought refusing that offer was the beginning of the end for her.

You cannot be "thin skinned" to be successful in an entertainment field. Singers and actors sometimes get a bad review. If you can't take it, try for another career, though I think everyone has gotten "not so glowing" reviews.

I am in agreement with the people that say nikki needs to blame herself for her own problems. Simon may be a complete asswipe, but blaming him for drinking and drug use etc.., is just ridiculous. She made her choices, she regrets them, and now she has to deal. That's what life is all about Nikki.
