Mail Bag Update 10/23/08

A couple years ago when I started watching American Idol, I was so irritated when my dad told me about VTFW. I swore I'd find a way to get your site shut down and I'd go on long rants about how much I hated VFTW. Give me a break, I was 12, okay? So long story short, I'd just laugh at your site as my dad would sit in front of the computer and hog the phone so he could 'help' you guys. I eventually stopped getting so angry at you guys for voting for someone I didn't like, but there were 2 or 3 people that got kicked off because of you stupid morons, so thanks for that. And I don't really care that most of them were plants. Some of them actually had a good voice.

And now you decide "WELL HEY, WOULDN'T IT BE FUNNY IF WE RUINED DANCING WITH THE STARS? LET'S MAKE SOME MORE PEOPLE ANGRY WITH US!" Congrats, you've officially proven your stupidity. You aren't funny. You're immature and idiotic. Grow up, okay? Gahhh, I'm waiting for the day when someone hacks your site.

Just an idea, you might be interested in. I think the Worsters should be making accounts now, that way they don't have to worry about making them the night of the show. That way it can guarentee more/faster votes for Clorky.

Boy you certainly have something against David Archuleta. I came upon you're site and it would seem to be highly unreasonable insults and unfair remarks. Jealous? The guy has an awesome voice and is going to make it big. His single went to #2, an accomplishment most artists cannot make, but instead you post a story when his song falls down the chart. What useless gab.

Yeah right. This website is a sham. It would be fine if it was truly presented according to the ideas set out in your "about us" section. The reality is your website is not about embracing the cheeziness or having fun with American Idol and you clearly don't actually love the contestants that you support. Your approach is very mean spirited and obnoxious. Your coverage is also very lopsided. For example you have several posts gloating about David Archuleta's single falling on the Billboard Hot 100 (duh from number 2 there's really only one direction to go) but The Hot 100 is based on many factors and that debut chart position was almost entirely based on sales before major airplay had even started. Since then Crush has steadily climbed the airplay charts and is now in the top 20 and climbing on all three major U.S. charts. Convenient that developments like that don't see the light of day on your blog. That's ok though since I know (wink wink) that you really love David Archuleta. The truth is that every time you disparage someone with your mean-spirited personal attacks you DO help them because anyone with any decency can see right through this schoolyard bully crap. It's sad really that you cover up your own insecurities by making fun of other people while hiding behind a computer screen. Nothing new though, people have always tried to come up with ways to compensate for a small penis.

Wow! I think you guys are being unfair to David Archuleta.  He is such a nice person. Does it really make you guys happy to bash a shy 17 year old? He hasn't done anything to you that would be worthy of your hate, I don't think.  I am a big fan of David and it hurts me to see sites likes yours devoted to attacking this sweet and super-talented person.  I believe in karma. Someday you might know what it feels like to be treated unfairly like you do to David A. I'm just saying my opinion of your site and what you guys are saying about him.  Peace out.

What is your problem? You like to pick on people or something. You guys have to get lives and leave people alone. I’m thinking of trying for Canadian Idol but if you guys are gonna be like this I’m rethinking it. I think that your website is degrading and whoever came up with it should be shot.

I wasn't starting any trouble. I was just stating my opinion. Smartie is making vftw and thefunnystone look like a fool. I wasn't spamming or flooding. My screen name was youknowitstrue. I guess you will continue to lick her butt and let her ruin your credibility and your site. That woman needs a leash.You want new members? I guess only the ones who are brainwashed. I love your freakin' site! It's incredible! You guys are insanely hilarious. I love the bashers, because they provide SUCH a big laugh, but they all REALLY need to get a life and learn to have a sense of humour. Most of the people on these Idol shows suck anyway. Anyhow, I had more of a reason to mail you, than just to rave. There are leaks of songs for David Archuleta's new album. Listen closely to 'My Hands'. The lyrics are incredibly stupid. I have been following this series and have been racking my brains wondering how Mitch McDonald keeps staying week after week. Then I remembered this website, and of course, he's the main man. This guy must have either the entire province of Nova Scotia voting for him, or this website has been very effective. I really dont want to see him win - it would be a national embarrassment. It's brutal seeing talented guys and girls getting cut every week and this helium sucking chipmunk is still up there.  I'd love to know how many people are voting for him because of this website....because I cant imagine why anyone would unless they were doing it for a joke!

it's really funny to check out your site and see all the comments that you guys post up; it adds an element of fun to the whole American Idol platform. Though people keep telling you all sort of crap about how you suck and stuff, i really don't want to go there cuz that's your own business! But i DO want to appreciate your various efforts to help out those troubled such as the most recent Luke Menard Donation and the previous ventures, you've done.

You guys are really good folks with a different view of reality shows
