Former Idol Auditioner Found Dead in Car

A woman was found dead in a car by Paula Abdul's home in Los Angeles. The AP article states that it was a "fan" of Paula's, but TMZ goes further to update that the woman is Paula Goodspeed. You may remember Paula, who auditioned for American Idol during season five. We'll keep you updated if we find out anything else.

I just read about this on Yahoo news and figured I would find her picture here. Surprisingly enough, I recognize her. I do hope she didn't commit suicide because of being rejected on American Idol but it is a strange coinicidence she was found in front of Paula's house. My heart definitely goes out to her family.

This girl is EXACTLY who I thought about once they said the fan was female. If it is indeed her, how can it not have ANYTHING to do with her Idol appearance? That's the problem when people who are obviously not "all there" are being manipulated and used for our amusement by reality shows. Not really trying to sound pious and I've done my share of laughing at these folks.

I am so heart sick regarding Paula Goodspeed's death! I want to send my prayers out to Paula's family and friends.

And as for the show?

Goodness, I didn't start watching AI until Season 6, so I was unfamiliar with Ms. Goodspeed. Thanks for providing the video link as it puts things into more perspective.
