Another theory: The album sales on all Idles (yes, that was intentional) has been on the downfall for the past two seasons. What has been the major changes in the past few seasons??? Answer: iTunes. Yes, having a lot of downloads on Idle's iTunes does not a future record make. When everyone is downloading David Cook's awesome performance of Little Sparrow or Eleanor Rigby or Archie's Imagine, who is going to buy it a few months later when it's on an overpriced record? Alternative Answer: Theme nights. These have resulted in cookie cutter artists that perform the same type of music from the very beginning. Boo. Let them do their own thing. Another Answer: Massive votin' Ok, so this has been a problem from the start, but the little girl that texts 200 times for Archie is not going to buy 200 albums. Limit voting, or even better, PAY voting. Yes, that will rage a few fans here and there, but it will be a better gauge on who will succeed in the market than allowing limitless voting for several hours.
