VFTW's favorite little buddy Josiah Leming has released his first video and, as one would expect, it's an absolutely beautiful, touching and unique song called Angels Undercover. And just as great, his mother Sharon is now going to be a star on MTV as she appears in the video!

American Idol should be ashamed. Morons.

Sorry, not my cup of tea. If I want to get depressed, I'll watch the Cleveland Browns play football.

Video was pretty good, hate the song (genre issue with me), singing voice below average, piano playing above average. But I love him for telling his frau to fuck off.

Couldn't they have spent money on a better piano? That thing sounds awful.

Everybody is a critic :P

I actually quite enjoyred it. I didn't like Josiah's performaces on AI, but this... this I liked. There's a rawness to it, yes, but I think thats what a song like this calls for.

But they just won! Why so cranky? hehe

This was very good but of course I'm completely biased.

I don't like how Idol abused him, but I'm not sure he was ready for a recording deal so soon afterward, as evidenced by this video.

Perhaps it was YouTube, but it sounded distorted - both the voice and the piano. Perhaps that was on purpose, as the video had old pictures and clips in it from earlier days, but sorry, music videos should have high quality sound or it might as well just be a video.

Again, Idol treated him like trash and for that reason alone I hope he succeeds, but I don't think he will succeed off of this video or this song alone. It doesn't have "instant classic" written all over it. Sorry :(

The song was better than the video. I generally don't like the "show them performing, intercut old home movies" style of music video, and this is no exception. I like that they tried to spice it up by chroma keying Josiah in front of the footage and overlaying it onto the piano here and there, but it wasn't blended very well (might be the pixelation from YouTube, though). But I suppose the somewhat amateurish production value of the video matches the underproduced sound of the song, so it has that going for it.
