JoesPlace just added Cody Sheldon to the list of people who made the top 50. VFTW Victory! He's our Danny Noriega clone who films horror movies. VFTW loves to vote for teenage boys with marginal talent, so will we vote for Cody? We'll see.

Local news reports refer to him with things like "billed as a high school student from Detroit." It is odd, considering all the local stories about Lakisha. I saw somewhere online that a Cody Sheldon was in a singing contest in Montana. Maybe he moved to/from the Detroit area, because the media would usually have dug up more info (well wishes from friends/family, etc) by now.

Incidentally, he probably is from the Detroit area, if anything. Most people who say they are from Detroit mean southeast Michigan. I do this too, which rankles some actual Detroiters, but so be it.

So far he's the only one who comes across as even remotely interesting to me. Plus, I'm sure that there will be lots of badness surrounding him and it will be very, very fun.
