Joanna Pacitti Out / Felicia Barton In

It's a hard knock life for an annoying sequoia. Hot damn, Joanna Pacitti has been disqualified from American Idol! Our work has finally paid off!

It has been determined that Joanna Pacitti is ineligible to continue in the competition. AMERICAN IDOL contestant Felicia Barton has replaced Ms. Pacitti as part of the Top 36, L.A. Times reports.

A source close to the show now tells us that Pacitti was disqualified to "avoid the appearance of impropriety." (meaning they got caught planting her... the other plants haven't been caught yet and stay on the show)

In the past week, tabloids had been reporting on a private relationship between Pacitti and executives of 19 Management - one of the companies which oversees Idol.

How awesome is this? We finally helped get one of the plants kicked to the curb and someone like Felicia who actually deserves a shot is given one. Win win all around. VFTW Victory!

This is the bestest news I've heard in season 8 so far!!! I'm glad they chose Felicia to come back into top 36. Guess the AI producers must have read all of the AI boards and blogs to know that Felicia is a universal favourite from all AI fans. woohoo! time to pop a champagne and celebrate!

Joanna disqualified? A private relationship with the executives? NO SHIT!

I seriously feel like I'm in a dream right now. It is a good dream, where all plants have been banned from AI. I wake up and realize that only part of my dream has come true...but this is the best part. :) I am celebrating people! CELEBRATING!

It looks like that American Idol is S L O W L Y learning that they can't hide and get away with plants like they tried to pull with Joanna. There are times like this that I just LUUUVE the tabloids

Hopefully Felicia Barton is not a plant. She doesn't seem to be. If she isn't, I hope she KICKS BUTT!
