Ricky Braddy's Fansite is Back Up

We first reported that Ricky Braddy's fansite The Braddy Bunch was sent a cease and desist letter by Fremantle. The folks behind Idol said the site gave Ricky "an unfair advantage", which clearly catapulted him into the top 12 and made him the frontrunner. Oh wait, it didn't? The site was taken down temporarily while the owners dealt with lawyers. Well looks like the Braddies won. The site's back up and the Idol folks seem to be backing off in the corner. Good for the Braddy Bunch! Will Idol learn anything from this? Of course not.

So we'll send a quick warning to Felicia Barton... watch out for cease and desist letters in your e-mail next week. People are searching for you all over the internet since you replaced Joplanta, they're realizing you sing well, and Idol may not want you in their planned top 12.

There is a great possibility that he could make it to top 12, wildcard? Idol will never learn.

Yes, because AI is SO concerned with squashing 'unfair advantage'. I mean, they would NEVER pimp a contestant by featuring his journey and backstory solidly through the auditions thus getting fan-tards personally involved in voting him through then put him up against someone who they had NEVER seen before and so had less connection with. AI would NEVER stoop to something as unfair as that.

I'm surprised Idol has never come after VTFW. Or have they? Cracks me up that we can't post this name over there. You know you're a threat when you can't have your name posted on the A.I. site.

I gotta say this about Ricky Braddy. If those asses at American Idol aren't going to feature you on their show during auditions and Hollwyod week because they are following around the lastest SOB story...do it yourself:

Ricky Braddy does it, his way

So, the family pizzed off the producers by (1) pimping the site on national television and then (2) not obeying their command to take said site down.

Does anyone think that after doing both that this kid has any chance in hell of making the wildcard round now?!

You have angered the Idol machine. Don't expect the machine to dispense any more temporary fame if you anger it.

ITA. The Idol Machine does not like to be told what to do, so someone as talented as Ricky gets snubbed by Michael, b/c Simon gave the thumbs up to Michael (I hope viewers pick up the phone for you...say what?) and we got to hear about Ricky working with chicken fingers by our friend Ryan. Gag me.

Bad news: there is a report out that some of the contestants from Hollywood week will get put back into the wild card round. Are you kidding me?! So only THREE of the remaining 27 get another call back, and then they are going to add more contestants? What the hell is up with Idol this year? Do they want to alienate ALL of their viewers? And Ricky has pretty much no shot, since Idol is pissed off (for some insane reason) about his website...

Here's the link for the article on the possible wild card changes:

I don't think that's a two-headed dog. I think it's just two dogs.
