Is the plan to sneak Jamar back in? From all the pissiness I've seen about how Tatiana "took his place" in the top 36, maybe TPTB are caving to the wave of tard pressure.

RIDICULOUS. You already have 27 of the Top 36 vying for the final three spots. Now you are adding more singers, who, for whatever reason (Jamar) did not make the Top 36? Pathetic. Idol must be DESPERATE for higher ratings, because this system doesn't work and now it will get even worse. How about giving the VIEWERS the chance to vote in the final three. Sorry if you aren't happy, Simon, but who came up with this format? Oh, yeah. YOU did. You know what this means? They don't have to put someone like Ricky in. And see ya bye Normund/Nick if you aren't voted in this week.

Of course they will bring Jamar back. They cut him to milk some sobs and heartbreak from Danny Boy and they already planned the tearful reunion. Besides they need some color in the competition and they others are failing miserably. Oh and by the way, anyone notice how UNmoved Dorkey was over the loss ?

What this actually means: Due to the (not actual) unfairness of declaring Joanna Paplanty ineligible for the Top 36 after declaring her a member of the Top 36, we shall use the Wild Card to bring Her Royal Plantiness back and this way, viewers will not have the chance to vote her out in the uber competitive Top 36 rounds and judges can just pass her through to the Top 12 uncontested. [darth vader] Search your feelings, VFTW, you KNOW it to be true![/vader] I'm right, aren't I? Just say it, this was the Idol plan all along. Voters would reject her, so they took her out of the "only 3 of 12 get through" round and will just let the judges pass her through via the wild card. BADGER 4 TEH WIN!!!11111

The article quotes Cowell: "I think when we put the 12 together, there will be more personality, more interest and just more diversity." Only Tatiana brings those qualities (and, given, the current 3, those qualities are completely lacking).

Simon Cowell admits that last week's show sucked ass to USA Today, but something else in the article is stranger. The article says, "In next Thursday's wild-card round, the judges bring back eight or nine singers — not necessarily just from the semifinals — and pick three to round out the Top 12." So we have to listen to more rejects come back? Well hey... this could be a good thing! In season 2 when Idol tried this terrible experiment, every person that they brought back that hadn't made the semifinals was awful, culminating in VFTW victory Carmen Rasmusen making it into the top 12. So hey, maybe we'll get some crap that's even worse than we'd expected in the top 12. Amen to that and let's hope so!
