Not only do I not see anything wrong with the cover, but I think Ruben is one of the best singers ever on AI. Sorry, most about AI is laughable, but not Ruben. His voice is gorgeous.

That is what I thought too. When I scrolled down this morning to see if there were any new articles since Friday my exact thoughts were "Why the hell is Shaq on the VFTW site?" Then I read the caption. Lol.

Is this a gospel album? It just seems odd to be praying on the cover if it's R&;B. Actually, I think he'd do well in gospel (if he's religous like that). Ruben's a big boy, but that does not make him Luther Vandross (RIP). He has a nice enough voice, but I always feel like he's singing in slow motion. Step up the beat dude!

That album cover scares me.....a lot! It's like something made out of a televangelist ceremony that told it's worshiper to do mass suicide because the end of the world is coming......and Ruben is the leader of that cult.

In a world full of Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson photoshopped album covers, at least we can rely on Ruben Studdard to appear on his album realistically. But for the record, Rube, you might want to keep yourself off your covers. Scaring people doesn't sell albums. Nothing against ya, big guy, but you know. Not a flattering image.
