Matt was probably not in the bottom 3 but they always do this reverse pimping to get more votes for next week. Scott is in trouble next week but I don't think he really cares that much. Megan is also in trouble next week as a lot of posters are split-voting with Adam. I could not care less who wins as long as it's not Gokey. But it's also good if he wins as he won't sell any records.

For all those people comparing the stated "bottom" 3 (Matt, Michael, Scott) to DialIdol's predicted bottom 3 (Megan, Michael, Scott) - why bother?? First, DialIdol has a big margin of error. They do pretty well, I give them credit for that, but they don't claim to actually predict who will be sent home. Second, if DialIdol was super-duper accurate, why would anyone bother to watch the Results Show?? They wouldn't. So AI needs to mix it up as much as they can, "proving" DialIdol is not accurate so that people won't just look at it and not tune in.

I don't get why anyone is surprised that Matt was Bottom 2:

A) There are hundreds of dueling penists employed at dueling piano bars exactly like him, and none of them are the next big pop star.

B) He didn't get enough votes to even be in the Top 3 of a subset of the Top 36, so why are you suprised he's in the Bottom 2 of the Top 10?

C) Kara is horny for him, not America.

D) His reputation precedes him, and the wart on his forehead arrives 5 minutes before that.

E) A couple thousand amateurs sing Let's Get It On with more soul than him every day. He was billed as having soul in his voice. Motown week exposed him.

F) His face looked even more beaten in with a shovel than usual last night.

Matt G was in the bottom two because he stinks! Just listen to his Human Nature rendition again - it was awful, bordering on blisteringly awful. Sure, this week he didn't stink as bad (he sang okay but he was creepy in a whole lotta ways that made me want to turn straight just to avoid the possibility of even accidentially 'getting it on' with him) but finally America figured it out - he's just not that great.

And his third eye is ooky.

I agree that Matt sucks and only looks good to women twice his age and old gay guys with no game (i.e. David Archuleta fans as shown from that video to which we were treated a couple of weeks ago). He's almost as smug as D.W. Gokey though what beyond the lavish praise from the judges justifies his smugness, I don't know. At least Gokey knows that if he wears a cross around his neck and sings some song about Jesus, he's automatically got 10,000,000 Christians reflex-voting for him.
