Next Week's Theme Might Be the iTunes Top 100

TopIdol says next week's theme might be iTunes Downloads, meaning the iTunes Top 100. Oh we hope that's true! Why? Because these gems are all currently on the iTunes top 100. Megan, darling songbird. Please pick one of these. Trust us, you need to really go all out and have a great time and we'll have your back. Some of the brilliant masterpieces on the iTunes top 100:

  • Beyonce - "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)", "Diva", "Halo"

  • Lady Gaga - "Poker Face"

  • Miley Cyrus - "Hoedown Throwdown", "The Climb"

  • Asher Roth - "I Love College"

  • Britney Spears - "If You Seek Amy", "Circus", "Womanizer"

  • Kings of Leon - "Sex on Fire"

  • Kid Cuti - "Day and Nite"

 We left off the rap songs you can do as well. But seriously Megan, pick one of those songs and really go all out and make us proud! And hey Adam, if you want to sing "Single Ladies" as well, we won't stop you (hint hint).

Although I still wish she could perform Winehouse's "F**k Me Pumps", but such beauty would never be possible on Idol.

I love Megan. I love that she was wearing a dove tonight, too.

Oh my gosh, a theme with ONLY current songs, that NEVER happens on AI (cause you know, the producers somehow think we like hearing the same 80's songs again and again). It will obviously be full of a ton of useless iTunes advertising, but heck I wouldn't even care.

I just saw a commercial for a new 3 disc set from 'Prince'. I wonder if they will have 'Prince' week soon, since everytime a has been has something new come out during an Idol season they do a theme week with them. Just some food for thought.
