Kara DioGuardi Mocked by Megan Joy's Brother CJ

See, this is why we love Megan. Even her brother is working to piss off the judges. She must have a pretty cool family! Do you remember someone shouting out "broken record" to Kara last night? Turns out it was Megan's brother CJ. Whitney Pastorek from EW details the hilarious events at the live show last night where Kara was pissed:

"And just as I'd finished hooting with laughter at the brilliant cruelty of Kara opening with "I really like you, but" -- you know it's bad when they skip the outfit and go straight for the heart -- a voice interrupted the DioGuarbot with "Broken record!" The voice seemed to come from Megan's family, and sure enough, her brother CJ was more than happy to raise his hand and take responsibility. Kara ran off the rails and handed her flaming caboose to Paula... Once the cameras were pointed elsewhere, Kara made mocking faces to Paula and Simon, presumably in reference to CJ talking back while she was trying to be authoritative. Paula and Simon ignored her... On her way out for break, Kara and her burly bodyguards stomped over to Megan's family to have a little chat. Kara did not look happy...


On our way to the Grove parking structure, two of my journalist buddies and I ran into Megan's brother CJ... we asked him what Kara wanted when she came stomping over to them. CJ said she seemed mad, and wanted to know what he meant by "broken record." He responded with "'Package artist' is your package phrase," which made her stomp away. When she came back, she tried to make light of it, but I get the sense that for the Familia de Alegria, Kara is now pretty much on notice for good."

You tell her, CJ. Kara is useless on this show and it's about time someone mocked her to her face. Awesome family! Though this probably means the producers will probably send Megan packing this week since they hate when people challenge the show.

Love this tidbit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for CJ!!!!!!!

Kara has been dementing week after week. I can't stand her bobbing of the head every time she tries to critique. It seemed like the TPTB put her there so she can be Randy's "dawg", since Pauler is obviously Simon's. I agree that she's been useless this season: not funny, not insightful, not helpful. The great thing is she made Pauler sound coherent and relevant, and that's quite a job.

Pretty much summed up in two words what everyone is feeling about 4th wheel Kara being added to the judges panel this season.

Maybe it would help if Paula Rehabdul hand some happy pills to Kara Broken Record to lighten things up and makes her feel shes in the sky with diamonds.

Why dont the producers drugged Kara just like they are doing to Paula before the show starts? Maybe it will help her slow down her dementia or not so being stupid?

Kara is kind of pointless on the show...I am so happy Anoop and Megan snaped at her last night

She critizise everyone except that fake Danny Gokey and praise him like God

We don't need another Gokey follower in the show...we got Paula already

In theory, Kara is qualified to be a judge of a singing contest to find a pop idol.

However...

1. It's not a singing contest

2. There are no potential "pop idols" in this competition this season

3. Kara is an idiot and cannot give criticism without

a. Salivating over some fug

b. Showing off her "chops"

c. making an ass of herself

Good on CJ for calling her out! There's more than one Worster in that family.

Based on this outstanding photo and my comments from yesterday in the Gokey/Fairplay/Obama dead grandparent section, I want to once again suggest the nickname of "Sabretooth" for Kara.

Not a kitten, not a puma, not a leopard, not a cougar, but soooooo old that she is a Sabretooth!

Did Kara mean to reference "Studio 54" not Studio 57, there never was a Studio 57 as far as I know. Maybe the planet she came from. Also she could count properly tonight with her "3 words for you" comment. Great when Ryan sarcastically made reference to that. I don't think Simon &; Paula care that she was mocked. They ignore her most of the time anyway.

Pretty lame to have her bodyguards posture Megan's family. Glad CJ had balls to stand up to her!

Kara might have a nervous break down before the show's over! She may need the same drugs Paula is on!

It seems pretty obvious that Idol is in serious trouble as a prime time TV show. The amateurish production values, the obvious faking of results and the grade 6 standard of the singing all point to the chiefs at Fox Television ripping into the producers, judges and anyone else connected with the making of the show.

No one on the judging panel looked very comfortable being there, last night &; I'd make a large bet that it's not because of the singing. I'd guess it's because they've all been told their jobs are at risk &; Kara is probably least safe of all and which would explain why she seems to have developed the worst case of PMS ever recorded. Perhaps VFTW can encourage more heckling of the judges and we can enjoy Ryan uttering the magic words... "Kara, you're going home"
