Farmbot won Entertainer of the Year at the 2009 CMA Awards last night, an award that rarely ever goes to a female. But the real story of the night was her gigantic dress during her performance that could have been used to clothe 100 starving orphans. A little over the top? Or was it a system malfunction, when Farmbot was programmed to make the dress, she was never programmed to stop making it?

But you do have give her kudos for almost being human when she said she wanted to have a look at those boots McConaughey talked about. :-)

She seems to evolve beyond her programming, didn't she?

I thought the dress looked like a giant taffeta blood clot.

That dress looks like Jabba-the-Hutt with Princess Lea sticking out of it's mouth.

and combine that with those god-awful facial expressions farmbot makes when she's singing, like she's taking a really good crap, it only helps the image.

Yeah but look at the employment her dress created. It must take a dozen people handling it to shuttle her on and off stage, store the thing, etc. Maybe the prez could create a new program called "Stimulus Clothing".

Franklin stole my thought, although Pizza the Hutt also came to mind.

It looks like she might be a parade float--like there's some kind of vehicle underneath her--or at least a hovercraft or something.

That looks like something the Octomom would wear to a restaurant.

One thing is for sure though. We can put down all these geeks like Scott and Anoop, but AI found a verifiable superstar with Carrie.

It appears Farmbot has become self-aware. There is no hope now.

We must pray for salvation.

I lvoe the way she sings that song but I gotta tell you, that dress reminds me of the old lady and the shoe who had so many children she didn't kinow what to do. If she had this dress, she wouldn't need the shoe. A family of fifty could fit under there.
