My best friend growing up was blind, and we used to play video games together all the time. He even beat me at some of the fighting games.

Anyway... WHY must I start appreciating Scott now that he's gone? Not only is he fucking hilarious to watch, he seems like a truly nice person and I really like him. He will be missed. =(

Scott is probably the smartest contestant ever to be on American Idol. His singing wasn't that impressive, but his sense of humor will be missed.

lol pimp hand!^

I have to agree, a bitch slap from him looks like it would probably take out half of someone's teeth.

I watched this last night, and I was, for the first time, truly impressed by Scott. He was very intelligent, very well grounded, and he has a good sense of humor. It was embarassing that Justin whatever was leaning into Scott and raising his voice as he spoke to him, like Scott was stupid. We found out that Scott went to college at age 14, was a Rhodes Scholar, and spent a year studing in England. Damn, that's impressive--what's he doing singing karoke? It's especially annoying that the hosts of this AI Extra, and the AI judges, keep telling Scott that he is "brave."

I was bored to tears by his elevator music performances, but I enjoyed his interviews, even made the effort to watch part 2. I could easily watch a long segment about his life. But somehow AI makes everyone come across as boring and their compelling stories feel fake.

Scott is probably the smartest contestant they ever had on Idol. He was one of those students that are featured on USA Today's "Academic All Stars". He'll make some cheesy pop muzak. His voice is just not good but he probably can compose and play for the other singers.
