Fantasia to Star in VH1 Reality Series... Expect Mass Exodus of VH1 Viewers

In an effort to bring its trashy image a step further down the class ladder, VH1 has enlisted Fantasia Barrino to star in a reality TV show about her life. As if African Americans don't already have enough reasons to hate VH1 due to Flavor Flav, Ray J, New York, etc, VH1 figured they could throw in one more. This show should be a train wreck of epic propotions, so yeah we'll probably be watching it and mocking it. But the show is like going into a swimming pool, if you eat anything 30 minutes prior to watching Mantasia, you may get sick and vomit.

Ugh! You've got to be joking! Who in their right mind would watch that show (other than to mock it)? Fantasia is the worst Idol winner ever.

These shows ghettoise African Americans. And because there hardly any other shows with black characters you're left with the impression that 'that's how they are'.

It was like that when Queer Eye was on and everyone went 'oh, you gays are so fabulous' and I was all 'that's not me, dude' and they were like 'but I thought all gays were camp types who could design and decorate' and I was like 'get lost before I smash you'.

I am so depressed for pop culture right now. If not for Lost and The Daily Show I would totally give up all hope.
